Erlang Shen is the hardest boss in the game. Ince you know his moves its kinda fun.
Btw I know I’m really late and no one will see this but there is a chest in the area that gives you a horn for the bull king armor so you can craft both the staff and armor in 2 runs

Don't forget to activate the 6th Relic perk or you will get locked out of it. I beat the game 3 times but have to do it again to get the 18th perk unlocked. I despised the Erlang fight and think it is gimmicky. You basically have to respect out of spellbinder to do the fight or learn to dodge for 15 minutes in order to get through his shield 5 times. Yellow Loong is my favorite boss.

what is the helm that you have on when showing the loong staff?
Not sure if anybody is saying this but if you go to the blacksmith tiger after beating the game (choose Continue, don’t start a new game), you can pretty much buy unlimited fine gold threads and gold cores as long as you keep mining Will. Im doing this to unlock a bunch of weapons and armor before starting a +NG.

I got question, i just beat the game and i am about to entwr new game plus, if i beat it again but without fighting Erlang would i still get every transformation including the stone monkey that i get after beating the secret boss before the game plus?

I just beat the game a few hours ago the ring of fire fully upgraded with the relic a big help with the fan vessels conserved mana I beat Erlang shen with ashen slumber was detonating on his ass shit a tuff ass game
There are more poison chiefs, I defeated 4 or 5.
3 endings, do the stone ending, then go back and do the great pagoda ending, then do the stone monkey fight a second time and you will get a new animation anime style! Enjoy!😊
So if we did not continue after beating the game we miss out on all of the bonus items? Are we able to play through again and then continue without starting a new quest in order to obtain the bonus items? I think that I am on my third play through and I just came across this video….

So I am in NG+ Chapter 3 and I just created the Loong Staff and armour set but I noticed there is no helm to go along with it. What helms do you guys recommend ?? I will do some testing but always curious to get some opinions.
