Title: Excellent Alternative to Boring Traditional Crit Handlin
Review: Typically we either gave max damage plus another Dmg roll or gave double Dmg for crits. This adds some flavor. Sometimes you get less than double Dmg, other times more.

Title: Perfect cards, meh packaging
Review: Decks themselves are solid, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired.Each deck is loose in a holder not in an individual deckbox.Each deck is standing on it’s side, making it hard to tell the decks apartThe packaging takes up a whole lot of unnecessary space. It’s the size of a board game box. I was hoping to put the decks in my portable DM kit, but now I need to buy deck boxes. The deck itself is nice, but it needs a repackaging

Title: Of all the boxes, this one is my favorite.
Review: I bought this box of random cards, not knowing what to expect. I typically stay away from DM tools that seem more designed to create clutter than help my game, such as random generators, and monster manuals filled with slight variants of existing creatures, but I thought there may be some great plot hooks in this. Oh, was I in for a surprise. So many plot hooks. Most of them are confined to a single room or place. So, if you’re looking for something with larger story ideas, this isn’t it. These cards are basically designed to give something for your players to interact with. Each card is matched towards a setting, and then it gives ideas for something that may be in that particular. This makes it really fast and easy to plan a dungeon environment. This cards also work great if your running preprinted games to up the game a bit. There are cards that may not work in a typical area if drown randomly, so it’s probably best to pick and choose before game and have them on standby. There are some really great things in the decks. Best part is, it’s not limited to Dungeons and Dragons, or even the 5th edition. This box works great with any fantasy setting game. One of the few DM tools I do recommend.
