Title: No frills but still performs
Review: I chose this mount for a number of reasons:1) One of the least expensive screen mounts compatible with a Tesla Model Y.2) Designed without a bunch of additional adjustment points all over the mounting arm to maintain cleaner lines.3) Can be used without adhesive so it’s removable/non-permanent (I notice others have had issues with it falling off the screen, but I think the trick is to make sure that the arm is angled down so that the magnet doesn’t stick up above the level of the top of the screen and the phone would run into the edge of the screen, so that gravity will pull the phone down into the screen which supports it with less rotational torque that could lift the mount off the top of the screen and allow the phone and mount to fall.)4) My wife changed her phone/case so we needed something Mag-safe compatible5) It didn’t have a built in wireless charger. (While some people may want wireless charging, phones mounted up in the sun are already going to heat up, and wireless charging increases the risk of overheading more than just plugging in a charging cable when you need it, so in the interest of saving my phone and less battery deterioration, I avoid wireless charging even though it’s less convenient.)My one complaint is that the included metal ring, when placed inside my android phone’s (Google Pixel 7) thin TPU case doesn’t provide quite a strong enough holding power, though I fixed this by just sticking the metal ring to the outside of my TPU case. If that bothered me more, I would probably purchase a different mag-safe compatible case for my phone, perhaps with built-in magnets, but so far I haven’t seen the need based on my usage over the past month, and I don’t think it’s the fault of the mount to expect it to work through my non-magsafe case with just a little metal ring, so I don’t think it’s worth removing a star because I’m trying to use a sub-optimal case.Overall, I’m thinking about purchasing a second mount so that I can have one on each side of the screen, and the front seat passenger can easily keep their phone handy on the 2nd mount for long car rides, which saves it from sliding off the center console between the seats, or sliding around on the dash if they have to place it down to grab something.

Title: Most powerful magnet mount I’ve used!
Review: The most powerful magnet phone mount I’ve owned. In fact, I’m dinging it one star because it’s TOO powerful. I have to use two hands to take my phone off or the whole thing pulls out of my preferred position. Never thought I’d say this but I wish it was a little weaker!

Title: Great idea!
Review: This mount is designed perfectly for my Tesla model 3. I have an older model that doesn’t have the wireless chargers so I don’t have anywhere great to set my phone. This solves that for me! It stays in place very firmly.

Title: Adhesion is not perfect
Review: I like this holder, it lasted a good month on a curved screen. It specifically says that it’s meant for the 3 and Y, but I tried it on the CyberTruck with a curved screen compared to the other two and it did hold on the bottom, but over time it started slipping until it was barely hanging on. I don’t fault the vendor for this, they clearly marked the use case, but had hoped to try. I also believe I can use some 3m Tape and improve the adhesion without damaging the screen.The holder is adjustable and was at the exact angle I need for my use case. Happy about the design and the metal rings that came with it to retrofit my device without a mag connection.

Review: This mount is fantastic! I already had a magnet in my phone case from a previous holder, and this one worked perfectly with it. It holds my phone super securely, even on bumpy roads. The listing claims and shows 3M adhesive pad, but the product clearly has a generic pad. Worse yet, the description states “Made of high quality metal” but the only metal I could find is two hinge pins and a non-mag-safe-phone adapter ring.In testing, the mount is difficult to adjust while driving.
