Title: Life saver for my ford ev
Review: Ford was supposed to send me a connector to use a Tesla supercharger, However it never did after waiting for 1 year. I saw This at a friends place in thought of trying it out. The charger build is Solid and Materials seem to be of high qualitY. First, you need to create a Tesla account and add your vehicle. Connection is very easy, you connect this to the Tesla cord to your vehicle. Charging starts automatically periodDo not use ford oass to charge as the charging can be expensive without tesla account.Overall, very happy with my purchase, now I can drive long distances without having to worrying about finding a charger station.

Title: Non Teslas can’t really charge at Tesla
Review: You can’t actually use the a Tesla network. Waste of money. I bought this for a road trip across the southwestern US where there are very sparse EV charging stations. So as an integral part of my trip I planned to charge in Page AZ at the Tesla charger since there are no other operational chargers for 140 miles. Only after getting there did I find out Tesla won’t actually let me charge there. So while this item seems to be quality and did click into place on my car and on the Tesla plug, it is effectively useless. Please don’t waste your money if you are planning to have this as backup for a trip. It won’t work. Only a few select Tesla chargers will let you charge there and they aren’t the ones you need. That was an expensive tow to Flagstaff.

Title: Works Great So Far
Review: I drive a 2023 Chevy Bolt (which is a fantastic city car.) I’ve had it for just under a year and haven’t really taken any trips over 25 miles. I have a level 2 charger in my garage, so I almost never use public charging stations.I know the Bolt is not ideal for long road trips, bug my wife and I plan on taking a few weekend getaways with the Bolt this year. I decided to bite the bullet and get a NACS adapter to open us up to more charging stations, since I live in a part of the Midwest without the robust charging infrastructure of the West Coast or Northeast.This one was about $80 less than the Lectron version, but I was still a little nervous about it being a subpar piece of equipment. Well, my fears were allayed when I tested it out yesterday. The adapter fit perfectly. It feels solid and well made, and comes in a nice zip up case that I keep in the sub-trunk area of my Bolt.The supercharger station was in a grocery store parking lot, so I set it up and went shopping. Came back in 25 minutes and the adapter was slightly warm to the touch but not at all hot. It was about 70 F outside.I recommend making sure you have the Tesla app downloaded on your phone and have an account created with payment updated before you go just to relieve any headaches the first time. Supercharger cords are indeed as short as people say, so if you have a front charging panel like I do make sure you pull up as close to the charger as possible. Happy travels!(Only leaving a four star review because I’ve just used it once, so if it continues to work well I’ll probably upgrade to five.)

Title: Works beautifully for Rivian R1S!
Review: I have a Rivian R1S- just got back from a road trip, it worked beautifully. I put this in my charging port first, then connected the Tesla Supercharger. Super easy to remove and comes in a handy little case. I was so tired of waiting for Rivian to send me the “free” NACS adapter and I wish I had bought this earlier. I used it three times on three different Tesla networks in the last 48 hours and no issues. A no- brainer!

Review: I bought this adapter to charge my Electric Vehicle when I visit my mom, who doesn’t have a charger in her home and where the only practical public charging stations are Tesla Superchargers. After trying it out a few times, I am happy to report that this product works as advertised, allowing me to use Tesla Superchargers on my non-Tesla EV. This charger adapter also has a security lock feature and is waterproof. I’ve had no issues using the adapter and truly plug-and-play. However, users should be aware of the adapter’s limitations regarding compatibility and availability of Supercharger stations in certain regions.

Title: Go Go Gadget!
Review: If like me, you have an electric car other than a Tesla, you’re probably familiar with the fact that charging at non-Tesla EV chargers on the road is a less than pleasant experience most of the time. I have never been to one of those chargers where I was not the person explaining or the person being explained to how to use them. Oh, and that’s when they work, because a whole lot of them are broken most of the time. Oh, and you have to have each of the multiple companies’ proprietary apps and create accounts with each of them and give them your credit card before you can use them, which is ridiculously bothersome because there are so many different brands of them!Criticize Elon’s politics all you want (or not), but Tesla has done a great job of building a Supercharging network. And now their NACS has become the de facto standard for electric car charging. So why do I love this little adapter? Because now I can use Tesla’s vast network of superchargers!My family and I used to have some reservations about taking the electric car on trips because of the previously terrible non-Tesla network of chargers. No more! Now you just get the Tesla app, get one of these, and roll up to the supercharger for a quick and (relatively) inexpensive charge. And another thing, this one comes with the case, and it is outrageously less expensive than what the dealership wanted to charge me for a branded one for my car. Go go gadget!
