The problem with contemporary art is that the general public only hears about the most bombastic artists. This has always been the case; it takes time for history to judge artistic quality. So people don't have a very good image of contemporary art.
An other example, 95% of the musicians/singers of the 1950s and 1960s have been completely forgotten. Because what they were doing wasn't very good. Those who grew up with jazz, and only remember the best of jazz, must have hated the bad rap of the 80s, of which almost nothing remains today.

Well, I took a look at all of them here. And I did not find a single one that struck me as either potentially important OR even very good. Frankly, I do not like the art of any of these artists, therefore I must conclude that the video producer either is trying to capitalize in some way here, or really doesn't have a good grasp of artists and art values.

The negative commenters obviously don’t understand the importance of the depth of feeling both of beauty and ugliness in creating interesting work. Choosing young just for the sake of 'young' is dumb to the extreme. No life's experience, they are fresh out of the mold with nothing new or unique in their narrow repertoire.
