Initially launched on Kickstarter on October 2017, UFO Tops are pocket-sized metal spinning tops that come in two series – Andromeda and Triangulum. The Andromeda Series features a rubber spin grip and ceramic ball tip for enhanced spin times (3-6 minutes.) Triangulum, launched in January 2022 and features a swappable Power Core machined grip, ceramic spin ball, bi-metal design and longer spin times (3-15 minutes).

Title: Good as a stand, horrible as a spin base.
Review: If you’re just wanting a good way to display your UFO top, this is great. But to use it as a spin base you’ll be greatly disappointed.There’s two main reasons it fails as a spin base:1.) When “upside down” (with the spin base facing up) the structure is very unstable because it’s top heavy. So when attempting to spin, you’re also regularly dealing with the base moving too from the impact of the top.2.) The center of the spin base, that is to say the low point where gravity pulls the top, is too small for tops to “stand still” I tried this with all 3 UFO tops, as well as a few other tops that I can regularly get to appear motionless while spinning, but the point at which the top would stand is too small for it to stay there, so it regularly bumps and is always a bit wobbly. Even for very reliably easy to throw tops I have it just fails. All 3 of my UFO tops spin beautifully and “stand still” on my glass spin bases It’s just this one that won’t allow any top to appear motionless on it.

Title: Very well made, worth the value
Review: I like this item, very well made and was worth the value. This would make a very giftable item for someone who like to have a base to spin their tops on. It’s not very big, but if you like have what they call a abduction ray to spin your tops on then this is it. Delivery was quick and the item arrived in its own bag and was in great condition. I would buy from this seller again in the future.

Title: It’s a very small display and Over Priced IMO!
Review: The Display is kind of small for the money!At least double the size would be nice. It would be great if you could use it to spin the tops on. If you could spin it on top. I would use a piece of double sided tape on the bottom to stabilize the display from tipping over.

Review: Some other buyers here have noted that the base is not ideal to spin the top on. One can do it and it works with some practice but it’s really best as a display dock and for that its pretty cool.
