Unironically Forespoken and Flintlock while being bad games but EVEN they done better job than this.
Just finished the game on PC gamepass and actually enjoyed it. There were clunky dialogue moments, but so far between that it wasn't an issue. Story is really cool and the visuals are great. Performance was so/so in some areas. This is one of few examples of a decently written female lead. Combat would have been a lot better if they didn't lock you in to finishing animations every single kill and camera control was annoying in those cases. Overall I'd give it a 7/10.
Game wasn't woke. Easily worth a playthrough for the art style and story
Don't have an Xbox from this generation (first time deciding not to buy every major console) so I can't play this unless I do it on PC, which isn't my thing. That being said, this is one I want to try for myself as it looks interesting and I do like the art style.

Please attempt to apply common sense. Game pass has been running since 2016. Look how many developers big and small have repeatedly put each game release on gamepass if they were losing 80% each time they either wouldn't come back or would go bust.

This game was originally a white guy's idea who wanted to portray his experience growing up in the south. Get SBI involved and it becomes a black female. Not only that, the "team" ends up being all located in Canada, are all liberal white women, and have no fucking idea what it's like being a white man or a black woman growing up in the south!
