I've only ever adopted adult cats, but even they get the zoomies. I'm lucky enough to have the ability to sleep through almost anything as long as I'm used to it. Two months in, I have a recording of myself sleeping through them chasing each other over the bed! Only woke up when they ran across the bed for the 8:th time in 5 minutes, and only because one of them literally used my stomach as a springboard to jump away.
Raising kittens is like raising human babies lmfao 😛
Thanks a million for such a riotous and truthful video. There's also the fact that when you swear that you'll NEVER get another cat (or dog, for that matter), well, that's just what you do. And never regret it.
My Kitten was 'a gift from the Universe' found mewing on a deserted foot-path on a freezing cold December day. After two weeks of advertising to no avail, I realized she was here to stay. After all of the above, (you don't mention swinging from the top of the curtains) as she was becoming more civilized, a neighbour found an eight week old kitten, probably from a feral cat. She gave it to me as a companion for the first one so it was back to square one with all the crazy kitten behaviour. He's a year old now and still thinks he's a kitten. I love them both but draw the line at having them in the bedroom at night. They have their own room and we follow a bed time routine that they understand. There were many challenges to bringing up another kitten when the older cat was still quite young. Play could turn spiteful and had to be carefully monitored, and I couldn't leave them together when I went out until he was fully grown and big enough to defend himself. He annoys her at times with his over-exuberance, and she is a compulsive licker which he doesn't like (maybe due to being taken from her mother too soon). Generally they get on fairly well and both enjoy different kinds of play. I never expected to wind up with these two but I'm glad to be able to give them both a safe home
Still, they are the best.
😂😂😂 on point
Welcome to the wonderful world of raising nocturnal predators. What did you expect?
Hairballs are the best….
I have been raising kittens into good cats for years and everything said here is true. Have bottle fed, cleaned butts, and held those babies with all my love. There's nothing in life like the absolute love and trust of a kitten.
hahahhahah LOVE your video, and IT'S TRUE, hahahah, love the way you deliver the message, you're good, keep at it 🙂
