3DS is Nintendo's console,so by realeasing it on the 3DS they are fans to buy the their console the 3DS simply for this game making more sales and profit. Same with the Wii for Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask (etc), and now an upcoming Zelda game for the Wii U. Great games get people to spend hundreds on consoles just for them (I'm getting a 3ds for This game, Icarus Kid, KH:DDD, Dead or Alive and not much else I really WANT)
I think they're pretty much the same, I can't find the link but I remember watching a comparison of them side by side and they said apart from graphics (which is barely different except cutscenes) and 3D feature it was pretty much the same
You need both times and types to make a neverending fun game.
Well, back in my days as a kid, we didn't have this high-tech 3d n64. You kids should be glad how Nintendo went really far with this game. Lets not fight over original and new. New wouldn't be there without original. Original would lose fame without new.
