In this video they show side by side comparisons of a few of the symbols from the Australian carvings to try to show how similar they are. But the subject of the carving are really the only things that are similar, as they are carved in a much different style to those Egyptian hieroglyphs. Occam’s Razor is the idea that the simplest explanation is the most likely the correct one. If we apply Occam’s Razor here, the simplest explanation is that someone saw Egyptian hieroglyphs and tried to replicate them on the rocks. This would explain the similarities in the concept of the symbols and the difference in the execution of creating the symbols. The only connection to the idea of aliens here is a symbol that resembles a flying saucer. This seems like confirmation bias to me as the symbol is just a basic shape with some lines coming from it which could be interpreted in a variety of ways. We are also viewing this symbol through our modern eyes and will see things that make sense to us in the present, like the classic image of a flying saucer that we associate with aliens. Giorgio then asks Evan what he would say if someone argued that the symbol was not a UFO, to which he says that some people say it could be jewelry but brushes aside the claim, saying that the symbol for jewelry looks different than the UFO symbol. So he explains why that claim that it’s jewelry is wrong, but does not continue to give any actual reasons why it is most likely a UFO besides the fact that it just “doesn’t fit into the cannon”. The lack of evidence that the symbol is a UFO shows it is more of a possibility than the probability that they act like it is.

And, I’m guessing at the end the of day, no one wants to deal with the stress and the politics of leading the charge of having to tell the world, they have to rewrite all the history books.

Why would the ancient Egyptians go to a dump like Gosford to settle when the magnificent Sydney harbour with all it's facilities is just an extra half-day's travel further south? I mean you can't even get a decent cup of coffee at Gosford on a Sunday.
