Title: Basic Polo but Shrinks After Washing
Review: It’s exactly the type of polo shirt you would think you’d get for the price point of $16.00. We ordered black but it’s not a true deep black which was disappointing. The material isn’t itchy but is a little on the coarse side. It’s a basic every day polo but there are better quality polos out there. It fit true to size but then shrunk a bit after washing. Just enough shrinkage to be noticeable but still fits just maybe a little tighter and a little shorter than when it was tried on. With that being said, it didn’t stop us from ordering a second polo in the olive green color. You can’t beat the value of the shirt.

Title: On Wednesdays we wear pink!
Review: I enjoy this shirt, its a bright shade of pink going towards fuschia. I like the material, I do wish I’d gotten the big and tall fit as this one shrank a little after a couple washes and does not stay tucked in due to my opulent body shape.Otherwise good and definitely recommend.

Title: Tore after one use
Review: Seemed like a nice polo, although the weave was pretty thin. Wore it once after washing & drying. I Olympic lift regularly; the shirt fit well (less so after I washed it, order a size up IMO), and it tore a half dollar sized hole in the middle of the back when I tried to pull it off over my head. Was sweaty & wet after commuting home during thundershowers in 90 degree weather.Buy one that will actually last, this is disposable at best, and if you don’t have noodle arms, be very careful pulling it off.

Review: I wanted a cheap polo shirt that could be used for in work and also for casual use when out and about that I didn’t mind getting worn out over time. I like the simplistic design and the colours around the sleeves and collar. The material is very good quality and maintains its size in the wash. Worn it plenty of times now and the colour hasn’t changed and the material has stayed intact too. Sizing was spot on, with my normal size of Medium being correct. For the price paid, compared to branded tops, this is exceptional value for money and does exactly what I needed it for!

Review: I purchased this polo as an experiment, to test against a more expensive and well known polo (Lacoste).. and see if the 3x price difference (AU$16 vs AU$51 – both were on black friday special) meant a x3 less quality. Now that Black Friday is over, the difference in price is much much larger.. so not comparable at all. But stay with me on the Black Friday pricing.. In a word.. it’s not worth it. The difference in quality in cotton, stitching, buttons, mean that the more expensive shirt will last way longer than 3 times. You’ll find yourself wearing it more often because it’s softer and cooler than this cotton. Not that the Amazon Essentials is a bad product, just that it’s made do a budget and it shows. Maybe as a work shirt or gardening shirt it’ll be fine.. but then again, because it doesn’t breath as nicely as the Lacoste, you’ll find yourself not wearing it as often. Sorry Amazon. Try making a BETTER shirt, not a cheaper one. However if you ARE on an absolute budget, it’s not a bad shirt.
