Title: First impression – very, very sweet office computer
Review: I’m coming from one of the 1st 49” Samsung curved monitors (C49HG90DMN) and it had its quirks to say the least. Just setting it up was an undertaking. This monitor was easy to set up. Three screws, pop up the stand, plug in the power cord and DP connector, hit the power button, select the language, and viola. Up and running. Seemed a LOT lighter than the Samsung and the higher resolution was instantly recognized with no fiddling around. Sweet!The controls are under the front bezel but, unlike the Samsung, are clearly marked. Access to the ports on the rear was easy (unlike the Samsung). The silly Samsung stand cover won’t be missed, and those giant Samsung feet won’t be missed, either.Screen text is clear and easy to read. I did need to increase my font size in Outlook as 8pt on this monitor is flyspeck. It seems to be about 33% more screen real estate with the resolution change. Had I realized my little 4×4 mini-computer running Windows 365 via remote desktop could drive this resolution, I would have upgraded to this resolution long ago (I nearly bought the lower resolution to save $150 — glad I resisted).This is made in China, so how well it will hold up remains a question, but at a sub-$700 price, I’ll take my chances. My Samsung only held up for about 3 years before the bottom 3” of the screen started randomly going into scramble mode when it came out of sleep mode (I can clear it by switching modes repeatedly, but it clearly was not long for this world). I’m not a gamer or Photoshop editor, so I can’t comment on speed, color accuracy, or any of that, but text is crisp and beats the heck out of multiple 27” monitors. I’m a Power Toys/Fancy Zones fanatic, so this is just the thing for hauling around windows and keeping four active windows front-and-center(ish) while running Outlook, Teams, Word, and Edge all at once.I’ll update as time changes my opinion, but the out-of-the-box impression is solid, especially at this price point (admittedly I’m a price watcher and have been waiting for a 49” bargain to replace my Samsung before it permanently quits). For now, a solid 5 stars.

Title: Excellent product if you get the vision – 49″ C1R 5120 x 1440P
Review: The vision:Couldn’t find any reviews on this model (it’s very new) so decided to write one. Was considering LG or Samsung, but decided to take a chance on this one based on reviews of other INNOCN models. Their vision seems to be to focus on what matters, and cut costs where possible. The result is a 49″ costing $300 less than other brands with comparable panel and specs. I’m ok with this proposition.What’s lacking:No remote, no glossy back panel, no fancy LED lights in the back, and not great sounding integrated spekers (but at least you have speakers) = $300 discount. Do you need all that stuff anyway? I don’t. Remote would be nice but I’ll manage.What matters:The screen, oh the screen… It blew me away. I was concerned about VA panel and not ISP, but it looks incredible and I love it. The 1800R curve works perfectly for me, although I suspect I might like 1500R a bit better. The brightness is great, the colors look beautiful, the HDR in standard mode is perfect. Resolution is great around 109 PPI, and I don’t see colors fade at the edges. I divide into 3 screens and it’s efficient. Looks like a very high quality panel. I’m glad someone decided a 49″ ultra-wide was a good idea, because it seriously is. I used two 27 in monitors for a long time, and although it’s the equivalent screen area there’s no comparison in how much more efficient this setup is. My hope is that the monitor is durable, and continues to work for a long time.Issues:Only issue was it wasn’t waking up when my Mac Mini woke up from sleep. I had to turn on manually each time. It’s a setting in the monitor. Turn off the “Auto Power” feature in “other Settings” and this fixes the problem. The monitor goes into standby instead of powering off completely when it detects no signal from the computer. I use USB-C cable.Last note to someone in Amazon: Reviews should be for the specific product, they should not be mixed for different models. Someone fix this.6 MONTH UPDATE: 3/29/24: The monitor continues to work flawlessly. No glitches, no issues, turns on every time. When the time comes to buy another in the future, will definitely get 1500R if not 1000R. Also, higher PPI than 109 if available. Still very happy with the purchase.

Title: Monitor review
Review: I’ve had this monitor for over a year now, and honestly, it’s been amazing. I used to have two separate monitors, but they made my space look cluttered and not very aesthetic.With this one, my setup looks clean, organized, and way more modern. The size is perfect, and it fits beautifully on my desk.It’s also been great for gaming—good resolution, smooth performance, and zero issues so far.If I had to choose again, I’d absolutely buy it again.

Title: Massive, Immersive Display – A Few Tweaks Needed But Worth It
Review: This monitor is an absolute beast in terms of screen real estate. The 49″ curved ultrawide with a 32:9 ratio and 5120×1440 resolution makes for an incredibly immersive experience for gaming, multitasking, and media.That said, it didn’t automatically register the full 5120×1440 out of the box. Even with the included DisplayPort cable, it only displayed 4K until I manually forced AMD software to detect the proper resolution. Something to keep in mind for AMD GPU users. Once set, though, it looks amazing.Some games don’t natively support this aspect ratio, so expect to play around with borderless/windowed modes or use third-party tools like No More Borders to get everything displaying properly.The build is solid, the picture is crisp, and 120Hz feels super smooth. For the price, especially compared to other 49″ ultrawides, this is a fantastic deal—just be ready for a bit of tweaking out the gate.
