Title: Phone Home!!
Review: I watched E.T. when it first came out in the movie theater. It scared me so bad I ended up on the floor near my chair. I remember it as if it was yesterday. I was 6 years old wow. It is still a beloved show. Today at our local theater they are showing it $0.25 tickets. I’m not sure if i want to replace that memory. It’s an awesome video great quality.

Review: This is one of my all time fav movies because it’s just fun for everyone! A great story – and even better cast – Baby girl Drew Barrymore makes the movie! I would say there are a few ‘scary’ parts but in my opinion it’s ok for the whole family. Special effects that are both amazing and funny. I always purchase my movies these days via stream. No DVD to store and you can watch them on most any device!  Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item – your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. Title: E.T- The Extra Terrestrial Puts An OUCH On The Competition.
Review: I recently purchased E.T.- The Extra Terrestrial, The 20th Anniversary edition. I am so glad I got the box set, no only does it include the 2002 edition; but the original 1982 version as well. This is one of my favorite Steven Spielberg movies ever. The box set not only includes both movies; but the reunion of the main cast members, behind the scenes footage, deleted scenes, and an interview with Steven Spielberg. It also includes various artwork/sketches, an interview/performance by John Williams and several more hours of bonus features. Yes, if you order the box set, it can be a little pricey; but it is worth it. They have discontinued the 20th Anniversary edition and replaced it with the 30th Anniversary edition; which came out in October 2012. I believe the 20th Anniversary is the only edition you can get both movies plus all the extras. I noticed the box set is still available through Amazon new/used and will still be until sold out. I must inform you that the 2002 version of E.T. is done with CGI effects. I have to admit I am not a fan of CGI; because it seems to cheapen a film. In this film the CGI is nothing like you see in some movies were you can tell it’s fake. I was impressed by the was E.T. was done, Spielberg is a genius. The 2002 version was done properly and it was very impressive to the viewer. There are other tweaks in the 2002 version, deleted scenes were added; and unlike the 1982 version the guns used by the Agents were replaced by two-way radios.I don’t blame Spielberg for this minor alteration, by replacing the guns with two-way radios. It seems like this Country is getting more violent; and the last thing children need to see is more violence/images. This is an excellent film not only for children; but for everyone. I never get tired of watching this masterpiece. E.T.-The Extra-Terrestrial is a very emotional and heartwarming tale that will leave you with a great feeling inside.THX,Kristina L. CocKayne

Title: A classic, but a bit slow
Review: I grew up with a copy of ET, but I never watched it a ton, although I certainly have always acknowledged it’s a classic film. So I finally decided to rewatch it again after all these years. It’s interesting to watch now, in the era of stranger things, because you really can’t see how much of an influence films like this hat on that series. as for the movie itself is still a great film, but for me, it’s always been a bit slow. The beginning of the film after the alien ship lands can drag on and even Henry Thomas is a little annoying at first. Luckily, like the other great 80s classic labyrinth. It does get better as it goes on and when it does he did try. This is truly a great science-fiction film. If you haven’t seen it definitely give it a shot. It has its flaws but it’s still a great time.

Review: Some of the 4k scenes were not and may have been up rated rather than real 4k. Having said that much of the film was exceptional quality. ET was far more detailed but some of the angles revealed its synthetic composition. Still worth purchasing since the last twenty mins. of the film combines visuals and sound to an exceptionally high standard.
