Just got a 3 year old German Shepard. Names Demarko he is a good dog his old owners basically let him walk them. We have made progress these last two days I’ve had him a lot less strain on the leesh. Would love some tips bro you’re amazing.
Inside the home would it be ok to say bed instead of place? And then when outside to just say stay, as there may be situations where we don't use the same 'place'?
Would this be ok, or is it important to say a word before stay?

I have a german shepherd and he does well with other dogs and I like to get him out and about but he hates the car and he always throws up ? what do I do about that? I’ve tried cbd but it only works sometimes .
Hard disagree about the talking. When giving commands, sure. But I work with dogs all day long and I keep up a constant thread of praise and various levels of corrections. I’m constantly calling their names and singing to them. My voice is the emotional container for the dogs. It lets them know I’m always present and watching them. It binds us all together. When I go for a while without talking the their energy begins to wander and go to those wild dog places. My constant voice keeps everyone in line
good concise advice, its' working for my 4 year old GS.
What's a realistic average you can have your dog in a stay on the place?
Watching this vid w an essa
Just rescued a German Shepherd from the Humane Society. He knows basic commands but I want to challenge him more

We have or first German shepherd puppy and she's months old and could use all the help we can get. Thank you
very helpful
Our shepherd is socialized very well but when we walk with our 3 year old man if she isn't on her like a hawk she herds on away from the edge of the sidewalk and will not leave her side if anyone comes near her she is isnt infront of her and guards her until i let her know if its safe or not. And i didnt even train her to do that at all it came instinctively ❤
We love the video. Thank you for sharing from Gorilla Dog beds.
Tom is the bomb
My GSD is 8 weeks old. Trying to find out where to start before she's finished vaccination.
It seems very helpful. My husband and I rescued a GSD, which was an owner surrender. She is 9 months old and very head strong.
They only had her for 5 months. We are working with the sit, stay commands and leash training. We learned she did not get any training from previous owners, so we are having to undo what they did not do. She does good at times and other times, OH LORD. She does want to please, but is easily distracted. So, we work with her a lot and try to keep her engaged. We have had her only 3 weeks. I feel I am expecting too much, too soon. She is not my first GSD.
We just rescued a German shepherd-malinois mix and this training clip is extremely helpful. Thank you.
thank you
I have a Maltese Belgium Shepherd, female. We call her Lily girl. But her actual name is Lilith. Very active not hyper but really active loves to run. Loves to play. Fetch loves to give me her paw and set up and lay down. She’s very smart. I love her dearly first Shepherd I’ve ever owned. Now they’re my favorite breed of dog. I’m 71 years old. I never met a dog. I love so much. She’s wonderful. She’s my furry friend my angel with no wings.👍👍❤️😀😇🐕
Good stuff as usual
I literally just bought a 7 month old German Shepherd. He’s abit ‘snappy’ and loves to jump up on you. I heard a soft growl from him today. Any tips?
I would love to have one on one free training with you for my 2.5 months GS fur baby
Pretty please
Very informative video. Learned a few new things, thanks.
Would this apply to Anatolian shephard? I have a 5 month old that’s never been worked with. I wasn’t sure where to start with him.
Thank you very much ❤❤

My GS is almost 2. She is not food or toy motivated. Her main focus is on my Golden retriever who is 2. besides separating him from her to train her.. What else can I do to get her to focus on me and or food/toys?
It was very instructive

Hey, thanks for the video! You have helped us out a lot with our anxious GSD.
That was a lot in a short video. I need to watch it again or better yet, have one on one training!
