I upgraded armor 9 to mythical and boss o boss it crushes everything. Defeated yaksha king and Supreme inspector (without fan) and having 50% gourd left in first try
But if I am not wrong game has only 11 armours he mentioned them all
At your second walkthrough , go to zodiac village and buy the material you need to craft amor or weapons. Simple of that 😅

My favourite set is :
headgear : yaksha
chest and bracers : venoumous gears
foot : yaksha
with stormflash staff
you will inflict from the first seconds of the battle poison and thunder bane et massively increase your attack
Test it and have fun
For me The base Pilgrim, golden, non-pure, Yaksha, and of. Waking in this order how I used them. Yaksha was key for Earlang and Yellow-long.
The other cool thing about the wukong armor set and staff is if you beat the game a 3rd time it give your the wukong stance which is really cool and you can use all through the story mode

Glad the bronze armour finally made a top 10 list, it's great and once you have multiple immobilize each crash reduces cooldown. 3 enemies eliminates it altogether!
For me the best armour of the game is the golden armor set I defeat erlang and broken shell wukong with that armour set on great sage difficulty you need to mix the fan and the mana bat and three beast Buddha for crit damage and two beeds for crit chance and with the spike staff for extra crit chance you do crazy damage

The worse thing they did was not put a difficulty setting for this game and its NOT even a souls game! that's why it never got GOTY!
