The best thing about online is the track builder and the online races
Here me out I thought of this the second the trailer came out, gta 5 has a whole economy. But with no risk, how would they introduce risk into gta 6 online. Perma death. You do everything you’ve listed but now you have risk. You die you lose it all. It’s going but tough to keep players that way but that’s a true way to bring out an ID to someone. Ofc levels could be recognised as the amount of days you’ve survived

That's just flat out not true, they were fucked out of their own project by people who were originally let go and the new team, and they had to fight rockstar the company to get anything at all from the whole situation. Rockstar has always been hands off of cfx for everything except the tos. For the longest I remember fivem team didn't even have access to the game's source code and there's a chance they still don't. That's all I wanted to say, rock* wasn't the best about it and nor was the internal team rockstar had hired on

alot of people dnt know this but gta 5 online is why we arent getting gta 6 this yr in 2025 and we might not get it in 2026. they made $500,000,000 in 2024 why bring gta 6 if gta 5 is making $500,000,000 they probably still going to make $300,000,000 this yr. if u can pay every staff member and make a profit off of ur 12 yr old game why not wait until u make as low as $100,000,000 then bring it out? so every shark card buyer, gta online player and game buyer is why we probably won't c gta 6 until 2027. i bet money. if everyone stop playing gta online we would have 6 by the end of the yr. but tht aint going to happen, so 2027 it is because people are stupid 😊

so i guess the way they're probably gonna structure gta 6 online is rags to riches whereas in GTA 5 we started with heists and worked our way down the ladder over the course of 10 years. GTA 5 is just a big survey atp everything they release is just a test to see how players respond. but i can see it now. you start out doing basic jobs and then eventually after what will probably be a very very long time work your way up to heists to make the big money
I love what they did in GTA 5 and imagining to have jobs in GTA 6 is more interesting than other games out there.

There’s a mobile game on the phones that you can create an avatar and go make TikTok’s with that avatar and share it with the world I feel like gta will use some of that same tech obviously on a greater scale That connects the world per say a tik tok but rockstars version on gta 6. Just like back in the day we when we downloaded that app on our phones to customize our plates in GTA 5 back in like 2013. I can see them creating an app that connects our phones to the game or maybe even have our phones in the game idk It is 2025 and technology has advanced so much.
Who cares about online. Give it 6mo and it will be ass just like gta5. Shark cards will be bought and brain dead griefers will be bubbly and happy killing online gameplay. Prove me wrong. At the end of the day when the money is tallied up the only thing rockstar is worried about is how much money did we make, not is the online version still playable?

A friend of mine said all the updates to GTA online are just beta testing game mechanics for GTA 6
if i have to be honest i think rockstar is going to release online later then story mode like 1-1.5 years later (Max 2) storymode is going to be 60-80 bucks (USD/EURO) and gta 6 online is also going to be 60-80 bucks

I think rockstar would make GTA RP to corporate
They should make a refreshed Los Santos a future DLC for when the gta online servers are set to go offline.
Picture this…rockstar completely overhauls GTA 5 behind closed doors. Retooling everything they finished in the current game. Cars, liveries, locations, etc.
Then when your account is set for offloading from their servers, you can then move it over to Los Santos v2 with everything you previously had IN ADDITION to what you start building in Vice City.
Then you can fly from Vice City back to Los Santos for new gameplay designed for that there with everything you’ve built for 10+ years. You’re not just losing over a decade’s worth of progress. It continuing it along with new gameplay in two cities. Heck maybe that building would be complete by then too haha.
