Cherry XTRFY Unveils New High-End TKL Gaming Keyboard And Premium Graphene Mouse Mat

Hot-Swappable Switches

The Cherry XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL Wireless is a new and premium-specification mechanical keyboard that’s aimed at elite-level gamers. The switches are hot-swappable and the keyboard has three different connection modes: wired, 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth.

The MX 8.3 TKL Wireless has a premium gasket construction and it’s housed in a solid aluminum case. The wireless polling rate using the 2.4GHz dongle is 4,000Hz, but that figure increases to 8,000Hz when connected using a USB cable.

With a high-end build quality and ultra-responsive polling rate, the keyboard has a solid feel and can report to the host computer up to eight times every millisecond. This ensures an ultra-fast response during competitive gaming. When the keyboard is connected in Bluetooth mode, it can pair with up to three different host devices and switch seamlessly between them.

The Cherry XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL offers the popular and compact tenkeyless format, giving gamers a bit more space on their desk or gaming rig for a mouse and a large and comfortable mousepad, such as the GP7.

The new wireless mechanical keyboard includes Cherry’s latest hot-swappable MX2A switches that have a smooth actuation and acoustics thanks to a redesigned spring and factory-applied lubricant. Additional features include a rotary knob and integrated LCD showing battery status, RGB lighting, media control and connection profiles. The keyboard can also be switched between Windows and macOS modes.
