A bit late, but I came back to BotW and tried to do master mode before I played TotK. Some tips: Enemies can only heal so much. If you get their health low enough, it will cut off the regen at a certain point. As others are saying, grab Majora's Mask. Then head for Hyrule Castle while sneaking past guardians and grab some good weapons. The enemies in there will be silver, meaning they will drop gems which makes it much easier to farm rupees. Spam them with attacks while pausing to avoid combo finishers to stun lock.
Majora mask is so helpful in master mode sad for one’s that don’t have dlc
The lynel on plateau was impossible at the start because its health regenerates while it runs around. I tried and tried. Also the breaking weapons is felt soo much more in master mode. Very frustrating
I’m starting a no death run on master mode. Wish me luck! It’s my first run through of master mode too and from what I hear there is a lynel on the Plateau. What sick dev thought that up… 💀
…I forgot i didn't have the glider…I junped off the tower to fly to a shrine and ended up just dying before i realized i had to earn it back…

i just got master mode after re playing botw three times. i saw a blue boko and thought “easy.” man wss i wrong. mf started re generating and calling its friends, immediately shat my pants after
My problem is keeping weapons! You go thru them so quickly in master mode it’s crazy!
I managed to beat the lynel with 3 hearts with the knights claymore thats hidden behind the waterfall. I also defeates the talus with the hammer that is by the stasis shrine.
I'm just so confused. On my main save (not mm) every enemy Is NOTHING. I have fully upgraded almost everything, god weapons, SO much materials, full stamina wheel, almost Max hearts I can get, and I have no trouble doing ANYTHING. Even Lynels are a fun activity. BUT on this mm save, it's just not working. I can't fight, my shrine amount is pathetic and I have NO materials or food, and can't get it. I just????
Master mode is tough. Cooking is the key to success. Extra hearts, stamina, and attack always helps.
Learn to parry, and block with the shield. Those ninjas are great for bananas and weapons.

Imagine thinking your stealth strategy is good when you’re using a glorified invisibility cloak. Korok mask > Majora’s mask
You can use a Bokoblin Shield to grab arrows to when they hit your shield.
