Title: Critical for older monitors with newer GPUs
Review: So I, like many others, have a good older monitor on my PC that still works perfectly well. It is full 1080p, has a good refresh rate and has always performed well in my games. But it is restricted to VGA and DVI inputs. The problem is newer graphics cards only come in DisplayPort and HDMI connections. While these connections are amazing for 4k TVs and monitors, it leaves the older hardware like my monitor behind. That is where cables like this come in.A simple explanation of what cables like these do is they convert the new signals to signals my older monitor can work with. Using this cable is seamless, it is just like using a native connection back in the day. I notice no added signal lag or weird visual artifacts. The PC just works like it should and once everything is set up and in place I forget this cable is there.So yes to put it simply this cable is necessary for people like me that refuse to throw out older hardware that still works just fine. You get two cables that work really well for a very reasonable asking price. Even if you only have one monitor, having a spare cable is thoughtful and prudent. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend!

Title: Nice upgrade
Review: I have an old laptop that stays connected to TV – I had been using a VGA cable since it doesnt have any HDMI ports and I had VGA cables around. Wasnt sure how these Displayport to VGA cables would work out – but it made a noticeable improvement. The vga end of the cable sounds empty/ hollow so my initial impression was not that high – and it took the computer or TV a bit to sync up – but after about 30 seconds or so, the screen displayed like normal. I dont have a way to test the image improvement, but it does appear much more detailed and sharp.

Title: Good Basic DP to VGA Adapter
Review: These cables work well for connecting my laptop’s DisplayPort to older VGA monitors. The 6-foot length is convenient for desk setups. Picture quality is clear at 1080p with no issues. Just remember they’re not bidirectional and won’t work with HDMI or USB ports. A simple and reliable solution for legacy displays.

Review: I use a lot of these types of cables in my business, These are easily as good as the best of them, but considerably more of a value at 2 for $12.Easy to install, PNP and no issues. Also 6′ is the prefect length for most installations.
