What I hate about this shitty game is that the attacks sometimes don't hit because the boss is in his animation, so you waste everything because some fucked up code. That is super unfair.

The most useful "trick" to beating this boss is using Cloudstep when he goes into the sand form. Then just wait him out. That really helped a lot.

The wind vessel can be used twice in this fight. During the 2nd and late 3rd phase. You can get the upgraded staff from the 6 Buddha eye quest as well. Great vid. The half health taking down in the beginning and armor was great to use. Last phase staying under the boss is the way to go
