Title: Good
Review: I have a Ram Promaster City and VanTech J series roof rails.I have a solar panel and was looking for something long and narrow. This was 1 of 2 options. The other is a Yakima skinnywarrior with extension and that would cost me over $600. So I went with this option.Does it work? Absolutely. But does it feel and look like a high end made item? Nah.Each individual piece feels solid and the coating on it looks good to me. But the basket is in 4 parts so when you put it together – it fits but it doesn’t look good. My basket looks like it sags in the middle. If I look straight down the basket, the middle bars don’t really line up. It is solid and I can shake the entire car when I hold onto the basket. However, it also will squeak a little. There is some give to it as it was knocking against my solar panel as I was driving. I had to space it a little bit away from the panel. The front panel is kinda odd. Not sure how it was suppose to go on so I just went with it. Also flipped the panel around for no logo.It still functions well as a roof basket. I would have liked better mounting brackets but so far they seem good enough. I’ve added some traction boards to it and seems to be holding well. I’d give it 4.5 stars. I’m happy enough with the performance and the price I paid.

Title: Good, narrow roof basket for the price
Review: Needed a narrow roof basket for my camper trailer to carry some extra gear and this one works great! I already had the Yakima round crossbars installed and this basket attaches just fine with the provided hardware (see pictures).Easy to assemble and didn’t have any issues that other reviews mentioned (misalignment, etc). The basket comes as three separate pieces to be linked together. I assembled the front and back parts (omitting the center part) to make a short basket that fit my needs.Overall happy with the purchase.

Title: Looks good, but cheap metal
Review: Metal piping had a hairline fracture that caused a split during winter travel. Metal seems weak. Other than that it looks really good. Could of used better breakdown of how the different foot attachments work.

Title: Great for a cross-country move
Review: Ok, I was not really expecting this bag to hold up but man, it really was worth the money. I moved from New Mexico to New York (2,200 miles) and let’s say the Mini Cooper is not known for its large storage capacity (although I fit everything I own in it somehow!!).I installed it ~10 days prior to the move because I wasn’t sure it would really hold up, and in the place I live in NM it snows quite a bit. It snowed and melted over this period and the insides were fine. Then through the entire road trip it was raining a lot (like, so much you can’t see the road!) for the entirety of the trip (4 days). It really held up without need for any adjustments. The front side did crumple a bit because there was a little empty space between the two bags I put up there (1 full size bag and 1 carry-on, plus some ski boots/helmet/etc). But I didn’t need to adjust at all. Last picture is from a gas station through the trip. Also, you WILL see the mileage drop. My mini did 42MPG in highway trips. With this, the average was 28MPG through the 2k miles. I had to refuel almost twice as often as normal. But it still was worth it, I didn’t need to rent a U-haul!

Title: 1 yr later – This is great if you prep it!
Review: I have had this for a year now on my large SUV. Here is my review:-Its narrow — so I can fit my cargo box or surfboard carrier next to it. Thats why I got it and it works great for that!-I’ve found just regular bungies are way easier than the net. Takes me one second with bungies and like 10 mins with the net.-Keeps sand out of my car. I use this primarily for beach chairs and boogieboards – its just wide enough to fit them.-One year later and looks brand new but thats because I prepped it…That means when I bought it, I spray painted the entire thing and then use rubber sealant on all of the gaps and screws. Probably took me a solid hour and $20 to do this. I wish the company just had it prepped for you and no brand, even the good ones, do that. I assume they are all just made the same way in the same factory. So be prepared for that if you dont want it to rust. Mines literally been through hurricanes and looks just like it did day 1. But I gave 4 stars for this reason.

Title: Rust!
Review: After only a week on my truck, rust has developed on every single weld. Not only that, but rusty orange water has dripped all over my truck and tonneau cover. Glad I noticed it now and removed it before it stained permanently. Reached out to the company and they wanted pictures which I provided then they offered me a $35 refund. What? Hello? Are you joking? I paid way more than $35. Why are you only offering a partial refund after a week of ownership? Crazy! Contacting Amazon to try and get a full refund on this trash.

Title:
Review: This roof rack has useful dimensions and the flexibility to adjust length by removing a segment. Hardware is OK, though not universally friendly to your crossbars (didn’t fit mine optimally). The real let-down was to see the thing starting to rust at the welding points within a couple of summer months of use. I mean, it’s a product intended for outdoor use by definition, yet it rusts within a 90-day window of sunshine and occasional rain.At this price-point, this shouldn’t happen. Disappointing.
