Except it'll be antiquated in about a year, or whenever Microsoft and Sony get off their asses and announce a new console. By that time it'll be just like the Wii, where devs would rather not scale down. Also this seems like it'll be the DS of consoles, where the controller-screen in the end is mostly used for maps and inventory management rather than innovation.
Hopefully the sticks feel more like the PS3 sticks instead of the Vita's. Seriously, for something that is a main selling point of the system, they really suck.

Not entirely, rumours say the the console could cost $300. At that price, you have a slightly better console (graphically) with new gameplay options available that can't be reproduced with the current consoles. So you get the best of the 2 worlds: the fun Nintendo games people love and play and all the major third party games. People won't want to switch. Unless Microsoft or Sony have something totally new at the right price.
Then, you might need to take a quick bathroom break. Walk to the right to go on set and locate the men's room by looking at the WiiU controller integrated map. Select open door on the touch screen and proceed. To remove your costume, press the undress option with the WiiU controller. Select what kind of business you would like to do. yup. that was the wii's original problem
the difference is that the wii u has the same precision as the wii motion plus which uses a gyroscope and accelerometer. The ps3 six-axis is identical to the naked wii-mote, which is basically just waggle
3:00 tilting the control to guide the remote control batarang. The SixAxis on the PS3 already does this and it's terrible. I'm not holding much hope for it on the WiiU.

I don't know what to thing O_o it's good the use of wii U controller but it's a little stupid move your controller to lock around for detective mode, just like in the kinect, but the Bat-computer interface it's pretty damn cool.
all of these features seem a bit frivolous to me. i'm hoping wiiU will be more than just "mildly neat".

The only thing im afraid of with the Wii U is that it just lives up to 360/PS3 hardware. Hopefully it at least catches up a bit :/
