UFO had a full-time keyboardist for the first time when they recorded this 1976 LP. Synths and pianos pair with some blazing Schenker guitar solos as you hear “Natural Thing,” “I’m a Loser,” “Can You Roll Her,” “A Fool in Love,” “Belladonna” and more! Chrysalis.

Title: UFO IS GOING AHEAD, NEVER FORGOTTEN
Review: THE FIRST REVIEW SHOULD BE POSTED LAST. I SAY THIS BECAUSE OF HIS OWN ADMISSION THAT HE WAS NOT EVEN HERE WHEN THIS ALBUM WAS RELEASED. UFO HAD A LIFE BEFORE MICHAEL SCHENKER JOINED THE BAND. THEY RELEASED 5-6 ALBUMS FEATURING MICK BOLTON AS LEAD GUITARIST. THEY HAD A HUGE FAN BASE IN ENGLAND, BUT NEVER DID MUCH IN THE U. S., AND, OR CANADA. I HAVE THE OLDER STUFF WITH BOLTON. A MEMBER OF THE UFO ENTOURAGE WAS A FRIEND OF A MEMBER OF THE SCORPIONS, WHO TOLD HIM ABOUT MICHAEL, THE BROTHER OF RUDOLF, WHO WAS AN UNPOLISHED MEMBER, SO MICHAEL JOINED THE SCORPS, AND AT THE SAME TIME TEACHING RUDOLF. MICHAEL WAS ONLY 14 YEARS OLD, BUT WAS A STYLE OF HIS OWN. UFO TALKED WITH HIM AND SIGNED HIM, LETTING BOLTON GO. THE BAND RELEASED PHENOMENON AND LET MICHAEL GO. MICHAEL WAS SELF TAUGHT, AND WHEN PHENOMENON WAS RELEASED IT CONTAINED 2 MASSIVE SONGS CREATED BY MICHAEL, THATS WHAT I MEANT BY UFO LET HIM GO. ROCK BOTTOM, AND DOCTOR DOCTOR, THEY BECAME THE BIGGEST BAND IN ENGLAND. MICHAEL COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH BUT HE DIDN’T NEED TO, AS HIS PLAYING SPOKE FOR HIM. HE DOESN’T PLAY WITH MODES, AND SCALES, HE WRITES WHAT HE FEELS. PHENOMENON BECAME A HUGE SELLER IN THE STATES. FORCE IT, WAS THE PERFECT SECOND ALBUM, SHOWING MICHAEL’S VERSATILITY. THEN NO HEAVY PETTING WAS UNLEASHED UPON US. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST OF THE THREE, IN FACT WE FOLLOW HIS GUITAR STYLES AS A BAND ON HIS BACK ON NO HEAVY PETTING. PHIL MOGG, LEAD SINGER FELT THAT PETTING WAS A SPRINGBOARD TO LIGHTS OUT, AND FELT THEY WERE ON TRACK AND THEIR STYLE WAS IN TACT AND WERE BLOWING THE ROOF OFF, WHEN OPENING FOR BIGGER BANDS. THEY BELIEVED THEY WERE HEADLINERS, SO THEY RELEASED ONE OF THE GREATEST LIVE ALBUMS TO DATE. THEY ARE OVER 25 RELEASES, AND CONTINUE TO TOUR. MICHAEL WENT SOLO AND IS JUST KILLING IT OUT THERE. UFO PICKED UP ONE OF THE TOP 25 GREATEST GUITAR PLAYERS, ACCORDING TO GUITAR WORLD MAGAZINE…. .VINNIE MOORE. AFTER A COUPLE CDS, WHICH JASON BONHAM PLAYED ON, HE LEFT AND WAS REPLACED BY THEIR ORIGINAL DRUMMER ANDY PARKER. THE DVD SHOWTIME WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. SO DON’T PLAN ON SEEING THEM THROW IN THE TOWEL JUST YET, THEY STILL ROCK HARDER THAN ALOT OF BANDS THAT WERE STARTING OUT THE SAME TIME UFO DID. THEY ARE A BAND WE, AS A BAND FOLLOW NOTE FOR NOTE.

Title: The Best UFO Album Ever Made
Review: This is an elite album from start to finish. It is on my list of my favorite top 10 albums of all time, it is that good. UFO is one of the greatest rock bands ever. If you are discovering them for the first time, I suggest buying this album first. This version is the re-mastered version with bonus tracks. Every song on this CD is great, even the bonus tracks are great. There is nothing bad about this CD, except that it will end eventually, but then you can start it again. It is so worth your money. The CD is worth purchasing just to get the song Martian Landscape, the song is that good. Enjoy the rest of the CD though and take it all in. You will fall in love with UFO. Amazing vocals, music and songs, you will love it all. I totally recommend this CD to everyone, because anyone who loves great music will love this CD. It is a can’t miss!!

Title: U.F.O no heavy petting
Review: U.F.O one of my all-time favorite band’s, especially when ufo hired THE BLONDE BOMBER Mr. Micheal Schenker, and recorded their best material, and (no heavy petting) is one of true Gems although it’s title track natural thing is on the live album, “stranger’s in the night” and most of the best of’s the rest of this album has some great material, that most people hav’ent heard,on this album the band explores some really nice spanish style acoustic guitar with the song (belladonna) and a song that I thought really fit the name ufo (martian landscapes) of coarse there are other classic’s like I’m a loser and can you roll her and on with the action. this is an amazing record celebrating the best that UFO with Micheal Schenker, Pete Way, and Phil Mogg,Andy Parker, and a revolving door of keyboard players. a real treasure.

Title: One of the Best Albums You Never Heard
Review: I didn’t know much about UFO except for the album Force It which is excellent. I recently started to buy some of their cd’s and now they’re my new favorite band. I’ve bought Force It, Lights Out and No Heavy Petting. I’m sorry folks, I know that Lights Out is this band’s most lauded work, but No Heavy Petting is much better than Lights Out. There is nothing on this album to equal “Lights Out” or “Love to Love” from that album on NHP, but as a whole NHP is the better album. Every song on this cd just plain rocks! All of the music is well-written and executed. Even all of the extra tracks included on this edition are great listens. I can’t believe that I didn’t listen to this band back in the seventies when they were at the top of their game. I am now going to order the rest of the Michael Shenker era albums, and I’m sure I won’t be dissapointed. Anyone that likes hard rock should get this. A truly classic album that never made it as big as it should have. I stll like Force It better, but NHP is a close 2nd. The remastered sound of this reissue is also better than the remastered sound of the past editions. Every song is a highlight and a great listen. I recommend it to all fans of hard rock.

Title: UFO’s BEST!
Review: If you want to know everything there is to know about this record, just check out the review by Sharptiger Rocker – I couldn’t agree more with that review. I’m only reviewing this so I can add a 5-star review to the total. I would give this record more than 5 stars if it was possible. It is the best thing UFO ever did – and that’s saying something because soooo much of what they’ve done is just pure musical perfection.Definitely include me in the “Left out of the Rock Hall of Fame – What a Joke!”-crowd and the “One of the Most Under-appreciated Bands of All Time”-crowd.

Title: All or Nothing = All
Review: I am so pleased with the re-releases of the first three classic Ufo , and I recieved NHP today on it’s release date ,(have to wait a couple more days for the other two). I never get tired of these cd’s or this band. and the bonus tracks make them even better. definitly worth the money at least so far , hope they do the same for Lights Out and Obsession.

Review: Che li si classifichi nella corrente Rock, Hard Rock o addirittura Heavy a me non interessa. Questo album è da avere. Granitico, solido, veloce…chitarre graffianti ma non “urlanti”, basso ben presente e batteria corposa. Sono presenti ballate (I’m a loser, Belladonna), pezzi veloci (Can You Roll Her) e addirittura un pezzo che a me ricorda (a grandi linee) Space Oddity di David Bowie…e cioè Martian Landscape. Bello a me questo album è proprio piaciuto…non tutto ma in grandissima parte sicuramente. Ed è entrato nella mia collezione…tanto basta!

Review: Make no mistake – the run of UFO albums from Phenomenon to, and including, No Place To Run (I know – it didn’t have Schenker on guitar but it’s still a corker) was probably the most brilliant and consistent run of albums made by any rock band, I kid you not. And No Heavy Petting is the perfect balance of melody and fretboard-shredding rock. Listen to that Schenker solo on Reasons Love – you will not find a more blistering solo anywhere. And Highway Lady is sublime – it sums up everything about UFO in to one classic rocker. This album has to be in your collection. Trust me on this one!
