Dune Awakening and Blue Prince are GOTY. Exhibition 33 is good but it's not Dune or Blue Prince Good! Yeah Yeah endgame is still subject to change but a very addictive game even fully solo.

I play the D&D style Dune game and have gone from someone who knows little about the Dune universe to someone who still knows very little, but I now enjoy it 🙂 I'm very curious about Dune: Awakening but having played things like WoW and Star Wars The Old Republic in the past I don't know if I can afford to lose myself in another game like this.

You really should remove this video and make a new one with all of the incorrect statements you made corrected because there are A LOT of inaccuracies here.
This game is an utter waste of time. The first 25 -30 hours is enough to get you invested in the game. At that point you will need to travel to the next area. By doing so, you WILL get eaten by the worm – losing everything AND sent back to the start to try to outrun the worm all over again. Guess what, logging out and trying another time resulted in the same thing. At least I was treated with a nice cut-scene this time….further wasting my time. Save your money

Well combat sucks, therefore I will not play it.
People describe the books after Dune as progressively weirder, or somehow less accessible. This is an unfair and inaccurate representation. Like all great writers, Herbert refined his craft as he aged (particularly in regards to his work in the Duniverse). For people reading the books in the correct order, there's a perfectly comprehensible and genius logic to the way in which the story unfolds. I think each book is better than the last, with Chapterhouse: Dune being the series' crown jewel.

Is it worth it solo at the price point? I’ve played just under 2 hours and I’m debating refunding. I’ve had some fun, I’m just not sure about longevity.
I'm at nearly 40 hours and having a blast. Its been a while since ive been into a game this much. I've spent most of the time grinding resources and building my base up. Havent done much in the way of the story so its kind of a bummer to hear how bad shit falls apart in the end game. Just gonna take my tome getting there I guess.
I don't understand the complaints about combat. I haven't done PvP but the PvE is craaaazy. My friend and I just blasted through a dungeon and it was super challenging and we barely made it through. You really can't just button mash, you have to use parries, tactics, and combo your abilities together. Also the AI is super aggressive and will try to flank you with ranged weapons while others close in with melee.
What's up with the new adds YouTube has that cover the bottom left of the video, (on phone) cant get rid of them unless you touch it which opens up the add…
So it's a shit game, but still an 8/10. Gotcha.
