People are just hating to hate, taking anything and ripping ubisoft, it's not funny it's just really annoying, yes the games they make aren't perfect and there past few games have been meh, but people still play there games, if you people really loath ubisoft stop playing there games, stop talking about them and maybe you wish will come true
Great points all around, part of the problem is these games cost so much to make nowadays at some point in time they have to make a profit on these games and they rush them out, another problem is the players, gamers have done themselves a disservice by not buying physical games. Also when it comes to the monetization of Ubisoft games I personally have never been bugged by their little monetization options that they have in some of their games I just ignore them because it's not affecting the game to me. What they need to do as a company is start working on smaller projects instead of all these big projects for example where is the new Rayman game, they can make those cheaper than they can make a far cry or even an assassin's Creed game and people would still buy them.
the fact that i tried to link rainbow on my pc to my old psn account to get my levels and items etc i went to the linking area realised once you link an account you cant unlink it and link a different account already super stupid, so i spent time nowhere and the ended up trying to make a new ubisoft account and went through hoops to link that new connect account to the correct psn i then tried loading up rainbow and it automatically signed me out of my new account and went back to the old one so i backed out and kept connect open this time while loading up the game and now theres an issue with the acount i created 2 minutes ago i jumped through more loops before realising your not allowed to use a different account thats not the one linked to your steam when you bought the game now my only option is to buy rainbow for the fifth time on this new account for a chance of getting things right yeah needless to say thats how i found myself on this video and i skipped alot of the headache the whole ordeal took me like 5 youtube tutorials and 2 hours only to end up where i started
it all starts from a corrupt leader who wants to abuse his power and maximize its benefits it gives with the 7 deadly sins. you really blabber your mouth though i was legitimately try to find what's wrong with Ubisoft generally. because my friend hates Ubisoft and i don't really play Ubisoft games. looking at who all works there looks more normal that Call of duty developers and equality corps that ruin itself from its past. because i really hate wokism forcing its way into corp jobs ruining its games and movies.
Because it gets easy points and views with people who have the cognitive skills of a toddler.
I hate them, because they force players to pay for PS Plus. And they’re french also
i uploaded what bluebyte UBIsoft was like
search these words Tera online UBIsoft char creation in german
they made the hottest chars i know even till today
UBI logo was stamaped on the front of the video
Ubisoft is worst company ever
Outlaws does infact look bad
Should do a vid on Legion
It’s not even that I don’t trust them, although I don’t either cus of the crew being shut down. But there servers for any and all pvp games suck ass, hit reg, net code, and shitty servers are common place in ALL UBISOFT GAMES, heck UNO JUST STARTED FUNCTIONING FOR ME ONLINE AFTER YEARS OF TRYING TO PLAY IT.
Zzzzz
just as this video comes out they were found to be ripping off a one piece replica sword to advertise as their own replica sword for the character of their own game. ubisoft not only thinks you shouldnt be able to have copies of games even if you pay for them, not only do they put their own creative teams in unethical time crunches, not only are they finding new and inventive ways to wring you for every penny you have, not only will they hype up and under deliver with new pencil pushing pricing, but they cut so many fucking corners they may as well change their logo to a circle. these people dont respect you, they think you are money on legs. they dont care that you want a good experience, it is all going to be live service with constant financial hurdles and monetization to jump through like a dog. they do not think their consumer base are worthy of any respect or understanding and according to friends in ubi montreal, they dont respect their own workers. dont give these fuckers another cent until they concede and change their ways or at the very least, until they bleed so bad their top brass start dropping like flies.
We've hit a point in gaming where its not about the passion anymore. People becoming devs for the status symbol over delivering a quality experience. Its cool to say you make video games for a living but you hate the work.
Lack of passion, and the worsening economy is creating complacency across the board. People dont have time to move to a new company where they might get laid off anyways, so they stick around where theyve always been. Conditions are bad for all th grunt workers but there's no room to demonstrate accountability on any front.
Ubisoft deserves its fall at this point. I love Siege but I haven't played since they got rid of old quick match. Boycotts are useless. Vote with your money, but most importantly, to those who have already bought their titles: vote with your time.
Uninstall today. No more crap from Ubi, Blizzard, Microsoft, Sony etc.
Ubi feels just 3 years behind everything
2 words. Corporate Greed.
It really sucks that the algorithm bullied G into sticking into siege, videos with their ability to yap but on other topics I enjoy are always a pleasure to watch
Bring back the old channel logo
Stroking to this masterpiece
I liked this channel when he talked about high level strategy and positioning now he just whines and complains each and every video. Such a shame.
Ubisoft seems to have this really weird idea of either beating a trend to death or fixing something that didn’t need fixing.
Splinter Cell is a great example. The first one and Chaos Theory were perfect but for some reason Ubisoft felt the need to change how Splinter Cell is played then get upset that it didn’t work out then punish the consumers by not making anymore (beside that fact Michael Ironside had some health issues) and now I’m almost convinced that they’re gonna screw up the remake.
Assassin‘s Creed is another one and you hit the nail on the head with it. They take the formula of the open world map design and put it into every single game beating a genre to death
Ubisoft has great ideas but pooor execution. They always go for the most safe bet, their stories dont say anything, their games are just meh, because of it.
Man, i miss the Heroes of Might and Magic series, Ubi even killed the 6th game recently
preach sis. Ubisoft is very much mismanaging Siege and their games and other ventures.
Bro didn't talk bout AC Shadows staying safe
I can no longer play ranked because Ubisoft deems my phone number as risky, can't use anyone else's either. That made me really hate Ubisoft.
(SPOILERS for Far Cry 6, don't read if you want to enjoy the game) I don't understand the writing for fc 6. It was set up to be a really interesting story but it basically just ends abruptly. The cutscenes showed Gus Frings kid at times following his dads footsteps but then also rebelling against him. Which made me think something crazy was going to happen between him and his father. The writer clearly didn't eat breakfast that morning as he was like 'ah well what if Gus Fring just killed his own son coz It turns out that he is actually really dumb.' So now when I replay the game, all the cut scenes feel kind of pointless.
I don’t particularly hate Ubisoft, for me it’s a big company that mostly put out okay games and sometimes one that I really enjoy, Ubi feels the least hostile to its players for me, you hear increasingly more aggressive monetization model for example from Activision and EA, you don’t hear that as much from Ubi and when you do it’s not as bad
this is like the 5th G video in the last week? idk hows theyve done it but this is amazing
Most gamers wouldn't trust Ubi to make them a sandwich rn, forget about AAA games (or is it quadruple now?😂)
Ubisoft is amazing at thinking of cool and unique concepts for games and they fucking suck at making it fun to play
Ubisoft backed themselves into a corner that they can't win. Pre-2015 their singleplayer games were too adult for kids and teenagers to appreciate it. You can see from the number of video essays going over Watch_Dogs 1 and older Assassin's Creed games saying how under appropriated they are. They were meant to be played by people of our current age and not when we were actually playing them.
But after the live-service/Esports boom Ubi never looked back since. A lot of the charms in their games were sacrificed for the sake of never ending updates and microtransactions. Their new games are pretty much anything that can be pushed out the door with acceptable/mediocre art value for players to buy into and hopefully stick around for the live-service. But that also changes with XDefiant having no consistent theme at all, not that it's the point for that game tho.
Ubisoft is the rich French kid who sits in the back of the classroom. And I feel like it's time we see the artsy-kinda emo version of him again, not the corporate bootlicking guy he is right now.
PS. The Division 1 gameplay's giving me multiple wave hits of nostalgia. I wish The Division franchise wasn't treated as badly as it is now, from both the community and Ubisoft.
Don't mention for honor
Bizarre how most tech/game companies like Google and Ubisoft were so praised and respected 10-15 years ago. Nowdays we see them as just soulless corporations.
Ubisoft can't be that bad if they made a AAAA game,no other company has been able to achieve that.
Honestly, right now my biggest problem is that the devs and the executives are speaking two different languages. The devs say “We wanna rework recruit! We wanna add 100 operators! We want this game going for 10 more years!”
The executives scream “Sell recolours for money. Make no new content for Y9S2. Do not communicate with our audience. Do not target core issues of cheating and bugs.”
I don’t want to support a game where its own mother and father are battling each other behind it’s back while telling it that “We still love each other.” As fucking if. I’m not trusting a company that doesn’t even trust its own dev team
I’m a betting man. AAA games are trash and I’m gonna get rich betting against them. I would have 100 bucks per instance. I’d have 10,000 bucks.
Damn I completely forgot ubi made watch dogs… it’s a shame how many different titles ubi has ruined.
Broken games and take forever to fix a dead zone bug on console
I think something Ubisoft should do, is give each of their studios a different name that’s not just Ubisoft or Ubisoft “geographic location”. People on average dont like them, when they see the Ubisoft logo, they think mediocre, or bad games/bad monetization. I think average people probably don’t realize that the Ubisoft behind Tom Clancy is a different team behind Assassin creed. I think someone might see a trailer they think is cool, but then see the Ubisoft logo and be disappointed. That’s already hurting the game and the dev team.
One of my favorite games is Anno 1800, developed by Ubisoft, I tried to show my friend to it and he saw the Ubisoft logo and was already not interested since Ubisoft was attached to it since other Ubisoft games he has played left him feeling mediocre about their games. He played and he really liked it.
Bottom line is I think Ubisoft needs to rebrand and feel less corporate. Games are supposed to be fun, but they feel like a business.
Imagine what would happen if Ubisoft execs doubled down on siege and spent a year revitalizing the game. Imagine how much better off their profits would be as a company. Instead of trying to release more garbage open world far cry clones, they could just pump all that development power into either siege, or working on siege 2
Well after 2016 or 2017 they started falling off and they still haven't recovered since. I genuinely miss the PS2 era Ubisoft.
As long as Ubisoft earns cash for bosses – they are doing everything right. It's the players who buy garbage. Don't support greedy practices and shitty games financially and only then things will change imho.
Ubisoft is incapable of making a good game nowadays
I’ll be surprised if ai and nfts aren’t brought up by the end of this
If you ask anyone who works or worked at Ubisoft they will tell you their job fucking sucks and they're treated like shit.
Good yap as always G👍
