Watching this looking back, and the dondozo counters in early S/V with the mirror herb are hilarious and surprisingly effective ploy. It doesn’t really work in open team sheets without exceptional positioning skills, but I had loads of fun mirroring Dondozo sweepers on the showdown ladder.

I liked Punching Glove on my playthrough Annihilape with ice punch, drain punch, rage fist

What if you give your Maushold the loaded dice and let it use population bomb
Ability shield with neutralizing glass
Does the mirror herb copy your teammates too? If so, I just made up a strategy. So you use scovillian’s signature move on your kingambit teammate, and the white herb will activate and raise scovillian’s attack by 2 stages. Then kingambit’s defiance ability will activate and raise its attack by 2 stages again. Then you will have a plus 4 attack kingambit and can even use swords dance to gain +6 attack with kingambit. And you can get a +2 attack scovillian and a +6 kingambit in one move.
Watching this a year later and i'd say the loaded dice, while far from being the best item for many mons, has shown up and contributed enough in VGC (and in my experience on ranked ladder) to move up a few spots. Loaded Dice Rillaboom in particular is common now

Ability shield got introduced in the game where cofa isn’t in 🗿
I use punch glove on my Annihilape for shadow punch, rage fist and drain punch. (I don’t really know if it work on rage fist cause it not have punch in the name). I can’t wait to Tera ghost when low and use rage fist and boosted even more with my punch glove( rage fist dose more damage the less health the Annihilape has).
Scale shot with loaded dice is pretty good
Punching glove can help get around the annoying spiky shield ogerpons
