People confuse me with their opinions on this game its literally a hack and slash with rng loot and the whole point is to constantly grind for emdgame if your not enjoying that playstyle but the game delivers what it is

This is exactly why I waited for season one to play cause I knew would have issues my main problem with d4 is same reson I had for d3 it feels like it's own game not a continuation from d2 cause diablo and 2 had similar feel then 3 and 4 game play was so different where it felt like a new game just with a diablo story also 3 story basically could of skip been skipped altogether by just making it cause Lilith from d2 ubers cause no d3 characters showed up but yet d2 characters had which I really liked in the story for the nostalgia
Diablo 4 is pure action. I'm playing with the Xbox controller together with the clan and we always have a lot of fun.
I believe the season brought an excellent opportunity to make a new character to try out a new mechanic. Very good.

I grinded to 100 on D4 essentially to say I did it. Preseason has convinced me to play D2R. Even with the free battle pass I see zero value in playing currently. I will given them I probably spent 100 hours playing so for value proposition it was fine but also will say it’s the third best Diablo. D2,D1,D4,D3. I will give them it beat the dumpster fire that is D3 but most games clear that hurtle as D3 is the stick in which all badness is measured. Soul bound items is the worst concept ever it only works in MMOs with raid bosses in my opinion and that’s only because you don’t want rich people trivializing the content. They could have carbon copied d2 itemization and skill trees and this game would have been amazing.
Funny that people complain about diablo 4 end game but lets be honest, in D2 we get to end game and its literally just farming keys and uber Diablo over and over. D4 is fine and after playing D2 for 20 years its an upgrade. Guessing you just switched cause thats where your viewers are.

This game completely missed the mark. D4 needed to be 1st person (think elder scrolls), but with goggles. It's just a respun D3. Hopefully, D5 will know us off our feet by integrating the Apple and Meta headsets and letting gamers actually step into sanctuary.
Blizz could place runewords into D4 to make the endgame less dependent on class-specific uniques, streamline nightmare dungeons to make them more fun to farm, patch Diablo and Baal into the game by expansions and D4 might just have a chance.
I've been trying to convince myself to play the game more, which is sad. I should enjoy a game, but d4 doesn't feel enjoyable. I don't know if it's the loot bloat, the tedious quests and dungeons or the unimpressive skills of the classes. But something is keeping me away. Hard to put my finger on it 😂

I want to be able to go inn brainlessly and just slaughter everything in my way, then beat a boss.
I dont care for these ‘’pick up two stones and deliver them to the alters’’, then it becomes ‘’the den of evil’’ where you walk through the whole map a few times, cause a tiny enemy was spawned or resurrected after you went past..
D3 had rifts and grifts (both were fun)..
D2 had Chaos Sanctuary, caves & towers and so on.
D4 should have both..
Dungeons instead of rifts is cool, but make em more enjoyable..

I've actually seen a leak for Season 2: Apparently your characters can obtain some never before seen powers to withstand the forces of nature to an enormous extend. It's gonna be called "Season of the Resistant" and it will allow you to rediscover affixes that you have so far completely ignored. Also there is gonna be a new boss to vanquish: Your own disappointment.

I mean the season mechanic sounds fine, but to make the endgame more appealing they gotta release some new endgame activity atleast every other season. endgame already feels super stale right now and the season didn't even start ^^
It's literally a 0 IQ move to make leveling up in this game absolutely tedious like it's a job, but have seasons they're trying to monetize on. Why would i play a season when i leveling to 50, especially for those of us who only play Hardcore. I just don't see why i would play the season.
Also i only like investing in one or two characters so if nothing from the season carries over to non season other than maybe a new horse saddle, it's a hard pass

I started D4 a couple of weeks back. I just got to level 50 today, and I had more than enough time to do it sooner. I unlocked Nightmare at lvl 49, running a WW Barb through the entire game in Vet mode. Some of the boss fights and content were challenging and fun. But now I'm grinding dungeons, collecting grim something's for a tree that gives me items, over and over. I have 4 core skills, 2 of which are defensive, without the ability of binding more. Legendary items have stats that don't seem to matter aside from damage/affixes/skills. White and magic items are just screen clutter, serving no purpose. The Paragon board seems like a desperate attempt at salvaging the endgame. What it really needs is more skill bindings and, maybe something like Factions in WoW with PvP Arenas/Battlegrounds. As is, it feels extremely repetitive.
