I never like the use of already famous actor faces in games. (Also in Death Stranding i hate it) I find it super lazy and i'm so sad Naughty dog is going for this route.
I for one am looking forward to the game, but then I’m a diehard fan of the studio. There were elements of the story of TLOU2 that didn’t sit as well with me as compared to Part I, but agree, the excellent gameplay, plus just needing to know what happened to Joel, Ellie and Dina kept me riveted.
What I would love to see is a deep dive into more of the inspirations, especially the aesthetic. I think they’ve talked a little about them, Otomo’s Akira, etc.

When you said that people haven’t came up with a good argument for the gameplay being bad, in my experience the same can be said for the story. The main reasons are usually the presence of lesbians, the rush of the story, and the fact Abby is muscular.
– In regards to Abby, that kind of physique is definitely possible and is seen in real life. When her father died, that event only sparked the fire that made Abby train and work for that body shape. It’s only possible with a lot of room for gym work and food. There’s countless gyms in the WLF stadium, so that’s that. And we can tell there’s a cafeteria with a bunch of food + vegetables and livestock are all freshly harvested.

They announced TLOU at E3 in 2011 and it didn’t come out until 2013. I reckon this will have a 2027/28 release, making early announcements makes it highly anticipated. I just close my eyes and wait.
