COMPONENTS – The box is lovely, but you need smaller, thinner sleeves if you want to sleeve the main cards. And I DO recommend sleeving them… mine seemed to be bowing a bit after several plays.

Cards are gorgeous and I am also a big Tolkien fan so if the game is half good i will take it.

Found/bought it yesterday, partially because of this review. It was a pleasant surprise that they gave me a promo pack from behind the counter.
Trick-taking multi-player does not appeal to me as a mechanism; there's some paradigm shift necessary to actually employ strategy that my brain just can't seem to make. But, my hope is that solo mode will turn it into more of a puzzle.

I preordered this to play solo, after trying the solomode out on the The Crew and enjoying it. I've been a LotR fan for over 50 years, so the theme was a big selling point. But I'm also a fan of solo trick-takers. Really looking forward to it!
