At IFA 2025, INMO announced a pair of “all-in-one AR glasses,” called INMO Air 3. The new smartglasses feature a lightweight design for its standalone headset. They combine a higher-resolution display with an updated processor, and broader app support compared to their predecessor. INMO’s “all-in-one” approach allows the device to perform a wide range of functions like the ability to act as a teleprompter, offer multi-window multitasking for productivity and allow message notifications.
The INMO Air 3 are touted to be a significant upgrade over the Air 2 model. You get a better resolution, which has been increased from 480p to 1080p and better brightness (going from 200 nits to 600 nits), as well as an improved field of view (from 26 degrees to 36 degrees), which is claimed to be an equivalent to viewing a 150-inch display.
INMO has also reworked the hardware. They are touted to be the world’s first pair of smartglasses to feature 1080p full-color optical waveguide. The Air 3 are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR chip, paired with an 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

By comparison, the Air 2 are powered by a UNISOC W517 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The operating system has also been updated from Android 9 to Android 14, so you get support for Google Mobile Services and a vast variety of apps from the Play Store.
Moreover, the 8MP sensor on the Air 2 has been replaced by a 16MP ultra-wide lens with electronic image stabilization, which is said to deliver smoother video capture and wider field coverage.
The INMO Air 3 sport Sony-supplied Micro OLED panels that deliver 62 pixels per degree at up to a 120Hz refresh rate. You get support for up to three floating virtual screens at once. It also adds a smart ring to provide multiple input methods with button and touchpad control, ray interaction, and mouse-like navigation.
The INMO Air 3 will debut on Kickstarter in September at a launch price of $899, before moving to a retail MSRP of $1,099. The earlier Air 2 launched at $599 and topped out at $699.
