At the distance of 0.15 AU from a star emitting 2.5% the radiant energy as ours, the planet would receive 11.11 times the amount of energy per unit area as our own. I vote for abiogenic source of DMS.
What???
Cool
Carl Sagan said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" but the claim that earth is moving is extraordinary considering no one on the earth can feel it moving, so where's the extraordinary evidence to backup the claim that earth is moving? Foucault's pendulum is usually cited but that's not solid evidence because the weight (lead wrapped in brass) is made from materials that can be affected by magnetism. It's obvious then with earth's magnetic pull that gets stronger towards the North Pole, that the pendulum would deviate more the further North it is, which is the effect we see. That isn't compelling evidence the earth is moving, it is compelling evidence there's ferrous materials in a Foucault's pendulum (which there is) and also it's compelling evidence that the closer you go to a magnet, the stronger it's pull is (making the pendulum deviate more the farther North you take it). Anyone got any proper answers?
Why is the 'search for life' always focused on looking for life like us? There always seems to be that automatic assumption, instead of looking for any life at all. Looking specifically for Earth-like planets which could sustain human-like life when the circumstances of how humans evolved at all were so unlikely that it's impossible to replicate. I'm no scientist but this seems like the worst kind of predudiced investigation – where you start with the specific answer you want and worked backwards to create the original question.
If they ever find conclusive evidence for ET life, they will never make it public. This debatable evidences are just tests to monitor public responses.
Interesting, but how would we know we got better at these analyses? I mean short of actually going, there it seems impossible to ever check the data. Earth standards are the only ones we really know, and since they may not apply, it seems a problem with no conceivable solution.
They found large shit on the supermans planet cause there was chuck norris on the trip with his 2 brothers. DARKO BOSNIAKOVICH CROATIA spirit with an axe ZAGOR TE NAY ahhyaaakk! 😅
No

AI generated auto translated voiceover tp my native language that i cant turn off? Literally unwatchable WTF YOUTUBE MORONS
Why is it if you go out at night you can see the milky way but no 1 in space has never taken a picture of it 😂
@3:05
Matcha drinks are a big thing here in parts of europe. Germany have a plethora of different brands. My favorite are the macha ginger sugar free sodas. Czech and Hungarians love their own versions.
But a monthly subscription that's very costly.. I guess the cancelation of the account and subscription isn't as easy as expected. I'll wait for the debunking video where an content creator has tried to cancel subscription and the aftermath. If I would buy this product. It would be locally in the health store or general grocery market.
I wonder if there is they know were here or that our planet exists
If it really is an all ocean planet, let's call it Kamino
Space, derrrr
subnautica
Awesome. Time to play Mass Effect and No Mans Sky.
Bro aliens have been found years and years ago 😂 they have done deals with many governments open your eyes jeez
Mustache? I say full on beard.
Hate to break it up you, Thoughty, but if we're studying them, we're the aliens.
No we haven't
Do you know this website? Zooniverse. You can find projects carried out by European universities regarding space. Check it out on Google, and enjoy it
I like how you specified that the telescope was the most advanced ever built by humans. For a second I was confused why we would use the most advanced telescope ever built by hedgehogs so I appreciate the clarification.
That giant space rock with a bio signature sounds like that thing in the 5 th element
>"have we literally actually just found aliens?" >1mo ago
I've said so before, but I really, really, really appreciate the way you mark your ad reads in your videos and give them their own chapter. I wish other creators would do the same. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
Realizing my age since I been subbed since before the mustache 😂
I think it’s crazy that life on other planets is considered extraordinary. Does science genuinely think that this little planet is the only place in the universe that has life?
im only 2 minutes in and i dont know everything about things. just wanted to add to the conversation and how i precive your analogy. it would be strange to have 2 grains of sand to randomly come across each other in the same place again. howevere to me it makes more sence that something relitivly close to us would have stuff with it. kind of likee a shot gun idea where a handfull of life would hit in the same general area. i wouldnt be surprised if more planets close by in the same way have had or have life on them
We couldn’t even get Pluto right, how can we be so sure about planets we can’t see, or are only seen as a very faint point of light?
If it is an inhabited planet, it is probably inhabited by slime on rocks. People forget that life has been present on earth for about 3.6 billion years or so, and during almost off that time except for the past 0.8 billion years or so, that life has been almost entirely microbial.
This doesn't diminish the importance . Just that no one should be expecting intelligent life.
5:27 That’s just my fav planet so far in No Man’s Sky since I just started back playing this week
Where is the mustache☹️
Bro put the planet that rains glass at 7000mph as his thumbnail
Anybody who understands what the Hubble deep field view is and how much space it occupies in the night sky Would probably have a difficult time arguing that this universe is devoid of any life, except for ours.
