Title: Couldn’t reach title 175/110 speeds. Above V30 speeds. Sometimes slow on small writes.
Review: I got the 64GB U3 V30. It came in a retail card pack with a throwaway plastic card holder.I tested this card with f3probe (a flash capacity tester), and it reported the capacity was accurate (58.24 GB usable).I ran some benchmarks with gnome disk utility with different sample sizes:10 MiB: 94.9 MB/s average read, 65.9 MB/s average write100 MiB: 96.1 MB/s average read, 47.4 MB/s average write1000 MiB: 95.5 MB/s average read, 46.5 MB/s average writeWith 10 MiB samples it dipped down under 20 MB/s on some samples. Otherwise the speeds were consistently above the V30/A1 rating.I couldn’t get near the claimed 175MB/s read and 110 MB/s write. I tried a second card reader based on GL3230S which should support SD 3.0 UHS-I, but my results remained the same. Can’t think of anything wrong with my setup. All my other Micro SDXC UHS-I cards only claim up to 100 MB/s so I don’t have anything else to compare with.Access times were 0.86 to 1.05 milliseconds. Seems good to average.Kingspec lists a 3 year warranty on the back of the retail card.

Title: Worked well in my Doorbell camera
Review: I got a doorbell camera but it needed a micro SD card. I ordered this and it worked very well. I didn’t need to format it in my computer first or do anything else to set it up. I just stuck it into the doorbell camera and it worked. The price point of this card was much lower than I could buy locally so it’s a great value also.

Title: Card fails initial test, but replacments is working fine.
Review: Updated review:I received a replacement card and it works fine so far. Using f3read and f3write, I got 31 MB/s write speed and 92 MB/s read speed, which is typical of a fast card using this particular reader. Some cards are a little faster, but this is not bad. Time will tell on its ultimate durability.Original review:I ran the f3write program on this card. It writes large files to fill up the card, then f3read reads them back to verify the data. For this card, f3write failed with write errors after writing 29GB. This is why you should check your flash cards when you get them, especially if it is an unfamiliar brand.

Review: Whilst there aren’t a lot of uses for a 32GB card any more, they’re still useful in a few bits and pieces. I got this to replace one that had been in my niece’s little self-printing camera, and it’s worked perfectly since I set it up.I did put this into my laptop first, to take off any bloatware and check it out before I handed it over, and when I ran it through a benchmark test program it didn’t come out at the claimed speed once, despite multiple tests, averaging about 70 to 75 mb/s on write, and dropping a lot slower than that at times—though the overall average is of course what really counts. For me, putting this into a kid’s toy, this isn’t an issue. But if I were buying the 256GB to do a lot of writing of data, it might become an annoying problem.Other than that it performed well, giving far better (but still not claimed) read speeds. It’s been in the camera which has been toted around and banged about by a seven year old for a week or so now with no issues, and has proved fine for taking out to drop the data onto a tablet, blanking it, then replacing back into the camera to re-write it. No issues at all.A reasonable micro-SD card then, if a little iffy on the claimed speeds.

Review: Here we have a 32GB MicroSD from a brand I’ve never heard of, Mixage. As a relatively new/small brand, they’ve got their work cut out for them competing in the memory card market, when companies like Sandisk are selling well regraded cards for the same money, but how do they measure up in terms of speed?I tested this, back-to-back against several other cards. A Sandisk Ultra 32GB card which is available for the same price, an Amazon Basics 64GB card which is available in a twin pack for £13.27, and a Sandisk Extreme 32GB which is available for £7.80. Clearly the Amazon card is the value champion.I expected both the Sandisk cards to be ahead of the pack, but I was entirely wrong:Mixage 32GB – £7.99Read: 61Write: 92Amazon Basics 64GB – £6.64 (£13.27 twin-pack)Read: 44Write: 91Sandisk Ultra 32GB – £7.99Read: 13Write: 90Sandisk Extreme 32GB – £7.80Read: 41Write: 90Running each test multiple times, and taking an average result, you can see that the Mixage is the fastest of the four cards tested. The bigger surprise really was quite how slow the Sandisk Ultra performed and what good value the Amazon Basics cards are..I did do a capacity test also, the Mixage is a true 32GB card. So, I am left impressed with Mixage and disappointed with Sandisk. If you absolutely need fast performance, maybe for high-bitrate video, then this Mixage card is an excellent affordable choice, but for most uses I would recommend the Amazon Basics branded cards above all others for their mix of speed, capacity and performance.

Review: This Micro SD card from MIXAGE isn’t completely awful but the speeds are somewhat inconsistent and nowhere near as high as advertised.I benchmarked this micro SD card using the Disks application on Linux Mint, the results of which can be seen in the attached picture. While the card is no slouch in these theoretical tests it got nowhere near the advertised 175 MB/s read or 110 MB/sec write, averaging 85 and 72 MB respectively. The speeds were also fairly inconsistent and you can see the transfers regularly dropping to around 10 MB/sec for writes, but maintaining over 40 MB/sec for reads. This memory card is still very usable, especially if you are mostly reading from it but there are also much better cards available from well-known brands at a similar size and price.
