Google Pixel 10 series users can now join the Android Beta program

The Google Pixel 10 series, launched with Android 16 last month, was initially not eligible for the Android Beta program. But that has changed now since Google has finally added the Pixel 10 lineup to the list of Pixel devices eligible for the Android Beta program.

The Google Pixel 10 series includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. If you are interested, you can enroll in the Android Beta program by heading this way and following the instructions.

Once enrolled, it may take up to 24 hours to receive the beta update on your device. If more time has elapsed, you can check for the update manually by navigating to your Pixel phone’s Settings > System > System Update menu.

However, note that beta builds often have bugs that could hamper the user experience and are best avoided on primary smartphones. Besides, you won’t be able to unenroll your Pixel device from the beta program and go back to the stable Android version without first wiping all locally saved data on your device. Moreover, you may also encounter issues while restoring a backup on your Pixel device.
