Deluxe two CD digipak version, with an O card. Includes bonus live and acoustic tracks. Originally released in 1975, No Heavy Petting is UFO’s fifth studio album and the last to be produced by Ten Years After’s Leo Lyons. Stepping up from the rawer sound of Force It, the album was their first to feature a permanent keyboard player in the band and gave a nod to what was to come. The album includes a number of tracks that were to become staples of their live set for many years, including “Natural Thing” and “I’m A Loser”.

Title: Cool mix of heavy and progressive rock, classic UFO line-up
Review: Best UFO album ever, excellent rem. edition with good earlier unreleased studio bonus tracks. What more can I say? Newcomers, just listen to “Natural Thing”, “I’m a Loser”, “On with the Action”, amazing “Belladonna” and strange “Martian Landscape”. Cool mix of heavy and progressive rock, classic UFO line-up and true touch of thr 70’s feel. Thanks to the seller and the band.

Title: Great packaging- not the quietest vinyl
Review: The music on this record speaks for itself. The packing is great and includes an insert with an informative essay. However, the vinyl is not the quietest. Gave it a perfunctory cleaning out of the package- noisy. Cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner- better but still not the quiet spin that I expect from 180gram vinyl.

Title: A must have UFO album with the classic Mogg-Schenker sound
Review: This album is a hard rock classic that defines the best of what UFO was in guitar driven melodic rock. Michael Schenker structures his songs to have memorable riffs, clean chords, blistering leads, with a beauty and feel not matched by many guitarists. The cd starts with the heavy riffs of Natural Thing, a favorite UFO in your face rocker, that will have you banging your head. Immediately contrasting the very next song with the acoustic start of “Loser” that progresses perfectly into pure electric guitar mixed with keyboards while Phil Mogg sings about hard times being out on the street alone and leads to a great Schenker solo. Those two songs provide the taste for what the rest of this album is about. A mix of hard guitar driven rock with beautiful slower paced songs like Belladonna, All the Strings, and a bit of their early space rock feel in Martian Landscape. There is a more integrated emphasis on keyboards than previous albums to outstanding effect with Danny Peyronel (who only played on this one cd) which led the way to a fuller UFO sound on this and future albums. Mogg has vocal qualities that go from soulful and melodic to a rough hewn – full of street cred style. Add in Michael Schenker’s brilliant guitar structure for both rhythm and lead parts and you have a combination that tops the world of hard rock groups. So many bands were influenced by UFO it is a wonder that they remained as low key as they did to the general public. This album is highly recommended and will become a favorite in any UFO collection after just a few listens. The EMI remastered version is the one to get due to the 5 additional tracks previously unreleased of which French Kisses is a stronger track.Next go buy Lights Out, Obsession, and Force It as classic Schenker era UFO albums if you don’t own them.

Title: An unexpectedly amazing album
Review: I have been a huge UFO fan for a few years now, and I’m only 19. I’ve been waiting to buy these new remastered cds from UFO and they never disappoint. I really like it comes with the great poster, but I don’t like how the notes are on the back. They did the same thing with Force It. Both cds are in the best quality. For the album, I only know the 2 songs that were on it so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. It’s a bit of a strange album and there’s something about that just feels slightly off. Yet, I can’t stop listening to it. It’s a very fun album to put on. Even though it has a few ballads, they never get tiresome, which is pretty usual for UFO. The extra songs are also pretty good. The live cd has good quality, although not the best. Still is another good listen to and the last 2 songs on it are a good surprise. In all, this is an album worth checking out.

Review: This was the last of the 70’s UFO I needed and it did not disappoint. Incredibly clear sound and nice thick vinyl. They went the extra mile on these albums and they are great.

Have You Seen Me Lately Joan ?
