Title: Seems to work with SOME Tesla destination chargers
Review: Please note: As the product description says, this adapter will NOT work with Tesla Superchargers or level 3 chargers, even those that seem to fit. I tried one of the Tesla charger stations that was listed as being available for non-Tesla EVs, and it didn’t work, though Tesla drivers at that location weren’t having any trouble.It also didn’t work on one of two Tesla charges in a local parking garage, but that one had a red light on the front instead of a green light, so I’m guessing it was defective.I finally found a Tesla charger that DID work on my Toyota with this adapter, the second of two chargers in that parking garage. Note that the Tesla app does NOT show that charger when you have the app set to display nearby chargers that support non-Tesla EVs.Once connected to a functional and compatible charger, the Tesla charger with this adapter charged my vehicle very quickly!The lesson is that this adapter won’t work everywhere, but if you’re patient and resourceful in finding compatible chargers, it adds some valuable flexibility to your charging options.

Title: A solid adapter
Review: It is a standard NACS/TESLA->J1772 adapter, and functioned as expected. It is only rated to 60 AMPS, but that is common in the J1772 world. Early Tesla’s fitted with two chargers could take 80 AMPS but I don’t know if other EVs can take more than 60. I did have a problem charging a Toyota plug-in hybrid with this on a Tesla 80 AMP NACS/TESLA station — but I do not believe it was the fault of this adapter. I tried another adapter, and it failed as well. So I think it it was the problem of the Toyota not being able to handle the TESLA 80 AMP L2 station. 80 AMP charging stations are rare, so this generally should not be a problem.

Title: Works as it is intended to without any issues!
Review: The Focsprod Tesla charger to J1772 adapter worked exactly as I had hoped – tested in a Tesla destination charger – 16 amp version, it charged my i3 exactly as I would have expected. After finding the destination chargers at a hotel on a recent trip to California, there were only two J1772 chargers available, and only one was working correctly. Plus, people who plug in and never move their car when the charging is complete means that there was no charger available. At the same time, there were four unused Tesla destination chargers at the hotel that I could not access. No more – the next time this situation occurs, I will be able to use the adapter to plug in to one of the unused NACS outlets. The build quality of the charging adapter appears very nice externally, and while I do not plan to disassemble the unit to check the wiring, as it is rated for 60 amps and it is unlikely it would ever see more than 32 amps in my use, I would not expect any issues. It seems like a good product at a fair price!
