The Tesla-swapped Datsun 240Z’s body is made out of carbon fiber. It features a humongous rear diffuser, deep dish-type wheels, a distinct hood bulge, and a wide body courtesy of beefy fender flares.
On the mechanical side, the vehicle gets a couple of aftermarket battery packs and a battery management system from AEM. The batteries were positioned strategically in the car to optimize weight balance. The team also gave it an aftermarket AEM motherboard on its inverter side to make it perform like a Tesla S Plaid.
As EVs, particularly high-performance ones, are prone to overheating, the build team also gave it a significant amount of cooling enhancements including high-power fans, new coolant pipes, and aftermarket radiators.
