JOB FUCTION AND SCOPE
Manage the company’s complex server and desktop infrastructure, as directed by the corporate IT. Responsible for daily server and backup management, hardware and software, printers, end-user support, hotline, budget preparations and correspondence
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hardware (10%)
a. Research, evaluate, test, and recommend hardware and data network solutions with guidance from corporate IT.
b. Monitor and maintain Servers and Desktop/Laptop Systems taking corrective action as required.
c. Implement and support complex PCs and LAN networks throughout the organization.
d. Follow the Corporate Geberit IT rules and Guidelines
2. Software (10%)
a. Research, evaluate, test, and recommend server and desktop software with guidance from corporate IT.
b. Manage the company’s data backup plan of servers and essential desktop systems per corporate backup plan.
c. Follow the Corporate Geberit IT rules and Guidelines
3. Support (50%)
a. Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors in determining the most appropriate type of hardware/software solutions within corporate IT guidelines.
b. Support Office365 and Outlook email clients.
c. Assist Users with SAP issues.
4. Projects and Implementations (20%)
a. Develop project plans and manage using project management tools to ensure project is on schedule and report project status.
b. Work with Team Lead to develop annual capital and expense budget plans for the acquisition and maintenance of server/pc hardware, network hardware, and server/pc software.
c. Work with vendors for the pricing and purchase of server/pc hardware, network hardware, and server/pc software.
d. Assists with WAN/LAN support as needed.
e. Manage companies cell phones, wireless connect cards, video conferencing, and contracts.
5. All other duties as assigned (10%)
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required:
· Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or MIS.
· Certification in the design, implementation, administration, and support of local area networks, Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Endpoint Protection, and the administration of the Microsoft Office and Cloud Applications.
· 3+ years’ experience in network and PC troubleshooting and resolution.
Preferred:
· Network Administrators may also be included who have gained job knowledge through training and experience.

· Possesses ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, internal and external customers.
· Ability to communicate with co-workers.
· Ability to check the accuracy of reports, forms, records and comparable data, where required.
· Must also be able to research and compare the accuracy of reports, forms, records of data.
· Must be able to make presentations orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Uses higher level math skills associated with geometric shapes and not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers, including decimals and fractions.
REASONING ABILITIES
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (preferred)
· Microsoft MCSA or higher.
· VCP – VMWare Certified Professional
· CompTIA A+
