The Callisto protocol is absolutely brilliant. I don’t get what all these idiots are putting it down for, its pathetic! Everything about the game is immense and it is definitely one of the best next GEN experiences you can have on the PS5!
Just got the deluxe edition for 20eu, totally loving it. 80-85% game nowaday with all the fixes and improvements.
It’s a great game. Feels like a big budget movie.
If it isnt for the combat, i wouldve loved this game
This reviewer seems like he has no idea what he wants. Kinda hard to take him serious..if you liked the base game you'll love the DLC is not you probably wont. This is one of the worst reviews of a game i have ever seen..
I finished the game and didn’t think it was the worst thing ever but I did play after the patches that fixed it somewhat. The combat and pacing is its worst qualities.the universe is actually interesting and has potential.all they have to do is put the focus of combat on guns like Dead Space with melee as an alternative and tighten up the story and a sequel would be pretty good.
Loved the game. It hit the right spot for me.
Great game suffering from shitty reviews.
Just finished the main campaign, i thoroughly enjoyed playing it, it looks amazing, its high tempo adrenaline had me on the edge of my seat pretty muvh all play through. I particularly enjoyed the gore and the simplistic HUD display. I felt the story was a bit meh but i didn't write it so i don't get to choose how it ends…
Bad points –
Respawn items and purchases don't remember if you die.
Slow chaging weapon.
Slow load time (PS4 though).
occasionally clunky controls when cornered.
I will be doing new game+ once enough time has passed and iv forgotten enough of it to enjoy it again and i would definitely be interested in seeing number 2
Boy, critics really had it out for this game. There are horror games that offer far less that get immense praise, while Callisto Protocol gets nitpicked to death. Is it perfect? maybe not. BUT is it a good time, if you ease up and let it be, for sure it is. It's less Aliens and more Alien Resurrection. And more so than Dead Space, the game felt like Outlast in space.
Game sucks, thank god I didn’t buy it on release.
Dude people are not being fair to this game at ALL! It easily holds up to dead space. I don't know how they are giving bad reviews. It is not an end either. They could easily continue the game.

I actually enjoyed this game. Just finished the main game, and it was great. I didn't get any bugs, found travelling about killing stuff fun, weapons felt great (in dismemberment mode), blowing legs, and heads off. Though it's far from perfect, it's definitely a game that got me to stick around until the end.
Is dlc worth it? Much extra story
Yh this should of been in the main game.
One of the worst games ever made
C'mon! Just finished playing this game on PS5 and it was awesome. Definitely recommend.
I just finished this DLC and I felt it was quite an unnecessary addition to the game. I really wanted to love this game and while it's not completely terrible it really has a major design flaws. The combat needs a total overhaul and the first thing that needs to go is the dodge mechanic. Whoever approved this weird side to side thing deserves to be thrown into a wood chipper. I like the idea of a melee forward survival horror experience but they need to look at games like Remant and see how they handle melee with range combat. The dodge should have been a back step plus a dodge roll. Auto lock on an enemy while trying to dodge and fight them and being swarmed by other enemies from behind just completely destroys the flow and allows the game to get in cheap shots. I hope to see a sequel where they can step up to the plate with something that feels better design-wise and gameplay wise and it would also be a great plus if they got a better writing team to come up with a more compelling story.
Played the game on my PS5, it was very good, simply it felt a little unfinished, not enough enemy times and weapons. Performance was good, but I heard other platforms were problematic sadly. I hope there will be a sequel.
So many people puffing copium here…
The game was a mess, it was in no way nearly as good as its inspiration. A failure from Glen in every sense of the word.
Who the fuck wants to crawl, shimmy and dodge for hours…😴😴😴
