Job description: Calero, the leading technology expense management solution for complex enterprises, is looking for a Junior MDM Business Consultant/Technical Account Manager based in the New York City, NY area, within a one-hour commute of Manhattan. The position will be responsible for visiting key customers in New York City. Reporting to a Senior Service Operations Manager, you will empower clients to get maximum value from the software platform. Having to liaise with clients and interpret their needs, as well as using your technical expertise to deliver solutions, will require an individual who is adept in both of these areas. The position is part of a dynamic global account management and project team with a wealth of experience to learn from. You will become highly proficient in Calero’s suite of products, as well as a number of software development tools the team use internally. You must be good at problem solving, able to work both independently and with colleagues/clients, as well as being highly motivated. Ultimately, you’ll be learning and growing in your technical role to take on more responsibilities and progress in the company.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conduct regular client meetings and work closely with the customer to ensure a good working partnership
- Provide technical support to clients for their solution, assisting with custom reporting requirements and automating processes where necessary
- Document custom solutions for support handover, as well as knowledge sharing with colleagues and liaising with the core development team to further improve the platform
- Support colleagues in the Sales and Account Management teams for the onboarding of new clients and delivery of existing client’s technical projects
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in an analytical field
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience in using Technical Languages (SQL plus others)
- Experience in Data Manipulation (professionally or academically)
- Experience in customer service roles and dealing with customers/clients is mandatory
