The new Magic Keyboard has a thinner and lighter body to complement the M4 iPad Pro’s sleek design. Inspired by MacBooks, the Magic Keyboard features a function row that allows changing the screen’s brightness or volume, along with an aluminum palm rest. Users also get a larger trackpad for more flexibility while using touch-based navigations. The device attaches to the back of the iPad Pro via magnets and synchronizes power and data without Bluetooth.
Along the aluminum hinge, there’s a USB-C connector for charging. Matching the colors of the M4 iPad Pro, the new Magic Keyboard ships in black (with a space black aluminum palm rest) and white (with a silver aluminum palm rest). Moreover, the device makes your iPad Pro feel like a MacBook with the additional keyboard and trackpad functionality.
The 11-inch Magic Keyboard costs $299, while the 13-inch Magic Keyboard is available for $349. For education, the models are available at a discount of $20. You can pre-order the Apple Pencil Pro and the new Magic Keyboard today, and the devices will be available next week.
