I am pleased to announce that Kipp the guest expert cat has now been rehomed!
Joanna:say she's a professional
Also joanna:shows a picture of a Caracal instead of a wildcat
Fun fact: B12 Studio & Annapurna Interactive hired a bunch of cat actors to do motion capture for the cats in this game
My cat is always sticking his head in tote bags. Tote bags are like his favorite thing in the world. There doesn’t have to be food or anything in it. He will stick his head in the the tote bag. He also really likes licking tote bag handles and just laying in or on a tote bag. I guess he feels safe enough to put his head in a tote bag. Yeah he can’t see if his head is in a tote bag but it’s fun. He doesn’t care for cardboard boxes like most cats. He’s a tote bag cat
@6:24 A scout for a team of assassins is stalking you. Or, your husband wants lunch real soon. Or you are blocking the way to the restroom.
I actually don't like the model of the cat in the game. One of the least attractive and sympathetic looking cats far and wide, though they probably pride themselves about it.
games are supposed to be played not to read all the f.k.n. game
The cats are supposed to be siblings 🙂
Note that when the bag is on the head the controls are actually reversed, indicating the distress
The true cat experts are the cats themselves who watch their owners play this game. I'm truly amazed at my ten cats whom interact with the cats on screen. Well done.
There were a lot of actual cats that were involved in the production of this game
We HATE the game. SPOILER ALERT.
The premise is the cat got separated from his group, falling down to the bottom part the city. We are as cat lover eventually would be motivated to play in order get him back to his family.
After all the struggle to go back to open upperworld, we don't get that ending as closure.
Over explanation, just a game. We all know. The game is fun and cute.
Love this game's realistic graphics !!!!❤
My cat i call trip cuz hes always going between my legs rubbing his body almost hurt myself multiple times daily its loves food or he has evil intentions😅😢
PLEASE let this woman play the game… there’s some moments in this where I’m just like “you HAVE to do that to progress the game!!! Of course a real cat isn’t going to do that”
Throwing this out here , Those little flea things you mentioned are called ‘ Zurks ‘ and basically in the game they try to attack the poor cat 😭
In the game when the cat gets the bag on his head, the controls reverse which makes it difficult to control. The devs wanted us to know it’s a bad thing
its a game not irl
My favorite part is nobody asked for this game it just appeared one day. Maybe i was living under a rock but i didn't even see any advertising till like a month before release.
Here i thought the only cat contet i could get is from warrior cats series now we finally got a kitty game ❤️❤️❤️
Never thought of a cat as a pray animal. For their size I kinda seen them as an ultimate life form.
I dont think that she likes the game, guys…
My cat created a horror movie music theme when he jump on my keyboard 😅
Why not recommend a harness? 😂 my cat wears her harness just fine, plus it’s the only way she can get safe outside time
I just want a game like Stray, but its not some apocalyptic future, its just stray cats in an urban city or even just a pet cat and the game is very light and relaxing
I wish I knew this much about cats! I'm gonna start playing Stray today and I'm very excited 🙂
8:50 Lady says that this all stems from there ancestor the African wild cat then Gamespot proceeds to show an image of a Caracal . WHaaaaaap Whaaaaaap Whaaaaaap you fail. Yes a Caracal is a wild cat that lives in Africa. The Editor must have googled searched wild African cats and this must have been the first small cat that looked wild and called it a day. Bravo, bravo. Such good journalism you guys. Amazing. Anyway if anyone is interested an African Wild cat looks almost indistinguishable from your average Tabby cat.
That is a caracal not a African wild cat
When the cat faced the Zurks the first time, I noticed that he licks his upper lips, wich is a sign of stress and/or fear.
TBF I have a cat who talks in his sleep, so while it may be rare, it's not completely implausible.
Wholly unnecessary
yo that cat isnt normal btw it has some intelligence seems evolved
"They don't intentionally try to trip anyone, they're not trying to hurt people." Meanwhile I'm playing the game and running after that guy every time I see him to trip him and cackling like a loon.
You should have a medical professional / someone with a chronic disease react to Before Your Eyes!
When the bag goes over his head, the controls get super chaotic and you can't control it properly anymore. Like forward is no longer forward, left is no longer left etc. I thought it was pretty clever.
About the colony thing, I have a colony of cats living in my neighborhood, about 20, all fed by this kind older woman. They all have a similar appearance, black and white bicolored, there’s also a little white one and black one. Their very friendly, if you feed them they’ll let you pet them. Idk kinda cool
9:52 This always happen to me when I'm home alone with my cat.
This woman said nothing that any reasonable person couldn’t deduce
ok my car weird tho
she likes clothes. I never force her into clothes. I hold it open and she walks in to them. it's very cute
This game was amazing ❤ I recommend!
The part where it vocalized in its sleep was not intentionally put into the game. It was the player pressing the meow button while sleeping.
Ñ🤑🤑🤑🤑
6:35 It's not random meowing, it's the person playing the game pressing the button to meow
Oh I had a cat that tried to trip people!!! He’d wrap himself around your ankles! Lol
The "bucket ride" in the "Cats wearing clothes" section, you know, that's not a normal cat behavior and thus shouldn't be seen as such. The cat is clearly enjoying the ride, since it's the player controling the cat, it's the "player's intelligence" showing here, not the cat's. I agree with the other statements the behavior expert gave, she clearly knows, what she's talking about from her experience with these cute animals, like the social behavior with the group at the begining of the game, the backpack uncomfortability (is that a word?) and stuff, but the bucket ride and the bucket elevator, that's a player thing, it's a game mechanics to get from point A to point B and the cat being quite comfortable with it can be simply attributed to the much higher intelligence of this individual beyond that of a normal cat. So yea. Everything else she's talking about is fine, but the bucket rides should be excluded from the expert reviews. Just saying.
My cat has absolutely been known to stick his head into things that obstruct his senses of his own accord
when the cat was sleeping i believe the gamer was hitting the meow button.. sometimes when you meow the environment around you will respond
@ 3:10 Hang on, so cats are anti-multiculturalism.
😀
