Hey, so just to clarify, when on step 2, do you continue to click and treat or just treat them?
How do you stop him from attacking the finger…..
Hi! Thank you for such good videos! Here is a question: What do I do if my cat tries to bite (just nibble as to take the treat/food) instead of just booping the finger? I'm scared I would accidentally reward biting instead of the nose touch. Do I keep my finger there or remove it or what should I do?
Just found this guy he's so cool
Don’t wark I try it but my kitten attacked my head .
I appreciate you sharing all this useful and wise information.

Can I do with my bengal kitten? He is 14 weeks but very hyper. Thanks 😃
currently the first only thing ive trained my kitten to do is wear her collar lol

I think my car is to old for this but if I get a future cat I plan to do this!
My cat only responds when we are indoor, outdoors she becomes hyperactive
My harness and leash arrived from your store today. Me and Andy are so excited to go outside to the garden square together and have a walk and explore safely. Got the harness on no problem and he’s already got finger training down with clicker training so I’m hopeful. Thank you for your amazing videos! Sadly won’t be doing the shoulder trick… he weighs 6.5kg as he’s a Ragdoll 😂
Hey, I just adopted a kitten 3-3.5 month old. And tried to train for finger targeting. She kinda got it, but half of the times she wouldn't take the treat or she would, but then play with it first ant then eat:D I don't know why she does that cause I do training before giving her normal food so she should be hungry. Perhaps someone also experienced this. Is it because I feed her too often or the treat isn't tasty or she is just still a kitten and needs to play/hunt for food before eating it?:D
Video starts at 4:25 btw
I am currently trying to train my 2-month-old kitten, and I have to keep it to a minimum 3 minute and maximum 5 minute mark because she gets distracted so easily. This is the 1st training i have tried, and she comes when she sees my finger pointing at an object even without a treat, so I know it's working. Lol, it will just take consistency and dedication on my part, but I'm determined!
Starts at 4:20, friends.
My cat doesn't even care about treats as soon he goes out. I have managed to get him used to the harness and he doesn't try to wiggle too much out of it but I cant reinforce with reward because he wont even pay attention to treats outside the house
I feel like i just saw you yesterday and ive just watched all your videos, AMAZING CONTENT 🤩🤩🤩
How do you train your cat to eat treats?? LOL. I've been able to train most of my animals to do whatever I need them to do without treats or clickers, but none of my cats have ever had an interest in treats.
How much did you pay for your cat?
Don’t use treats but instead use what? Scribble?
What’s scribble?
I have trained my cats to give paw, other paw, sit, stay, my boy will come up to sit on hind legs when I say up, my little girl doesn’t cooperate as much. They are 8 months old. I need help Please. My boy (both fixed, indoor cats) while I’m getting their wet food dished up and started nipping me on my calve. He never bites and it seems he is impatient. I’ve started having them sit and stay while dishing up food but he still tries. I stop, tell him to sit, stay and go back to dishing. What else can I do?
Instructions unclear. I am chasing my cat for my precious AirPods!
Thank you so much for your lessons! I am on my way to utilizing your teaching and my cat (Jin-Genie) is doing great! He is learning so fast!
Is there a verbal command to go with finger targeting?
My cat is not on a free feeding diat but she's on a proper diet without plant slop, grain, seed oils and sugar, so there's not much I can give her as a treat. What's perceived as a treat in one moment, doesn't have to be perceived as such in another. She just ate a 1/4 of raw ribeye steak. In the evening or tomorrow she might prefer (only) tuna. Occasionally she'll eat cooked chicken/poultry but rarely, and sometimes she'll eat poultry only if there's a bit of pumpkin or similar (zuchinni) with it… Quite a picky one. I guess the only way to give her a treat is to let her to fast first or maybe I should try whipped cream without sugar and additives.
You act so much more natural in this video. More of this please, you seem very nice !
I really like ur videos and also want to train my cat but I don’t know which kind of treat should I buy for my cat so can u suggest me the best treat which can train my cat? Thx!
My kitten will bite my finger. Ouch
dude if i use my finger my cat starts wrestling.. arm full of scratches after
Do you use regular cat food for treats or is it's a different kind of their regular food?
Hey, I have a question on your video, is there a time that you don’t use treats? I remember you said in the end of the video to not use them… What is the reward that you give them if you don’t use treats? I hope you see this! Thanks so much.
What's the name of your intro song? 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hi ! I just got 2 Bengal kittens, 4min the old and I love your videos. But there is 2 of them, I can’t get them to focus as one of them is always distracting the other (also they get anxiety if I separate them in a different room to train 😅)
Dude nice tips thanks for sharing but you made a nice long intro there. 4mins in and its still the intro lel
How long did it take to teach your Kitty? I have separated parents and am with my cats every other week. Will training still work?
You are a joy
Getting a Bengal kitten this Friday. This is incredibly helpful to see what is possible!
bro you're cuter than the cat
I want to start training my cat what should i do first my cat is with from 3 month pls tell 💕
The music playing over your video is nice, but confusing, because it prevents us from hearing exactly when you are clicking your clicker. We need to hear the sound of YOUR clicker in the video, so that we learn exactly when you are clicking it. For instance, do we click right after giving the treat, or right before? I don't really know, because all I could hear was your music, when what I needed to hear was exactly when you are clicking your clicker in relation to when you are giving the treat.
Does it make sense to train them like 16 weeks old?
Excellent videos. Can you do so also in Spanish? That will be great.
How old should your cat be if you want to teach it tricks
This helps my cat a lot!❤
It's Finger Targeting, starts at about 4:00
Ahh my cat is always with me for 😅 my food😢
