Mario did originally had a Brooklyn accent, the creator of Mario said that Mario bros canonically are from Brooklyn, like American Italian, this is Nintendos part, you can slightly hear the Brooklyn accent on the last line of Mario, there's still more trailers to come

I think pratts voice for Mario is fine. Listening to that high pitched Mario voice for a whole 90+ minutes would bug the hell out of me.

I think Nintendo are doing a different concept of Marios voice cause the story is he lives as a plumber in Brooklyn with a slight Italian accent so like the Mario 3 cartoon basically

When has Mario really ever had any dialogue in the games? Just the catch phrases. I don’t think I’d want to hear the traditional Mario voice actually speaking for two hours. It would be extremely annoying in my opinion. That being said though I get it, definitely not the traditional voice and bowsers voice needed to be a little deeper
the voices are not 100% but i think theyll grow on us because there actors we love.
I think Crow Hogan here is the only one that hates the Bowser voice.
