Forspoken – Explaining The Ending And What Could Be Next

I loved the story! It started off slow but I am wanting more now. I hate they won't have the opportunity to do a Forspoken Part 2. This game wasn't perfect but it damn sure didn't deserve the hate it got. And the dialog wasn't that bad either.

Just brought this game and this is something i love. Game is great to me. I pur nearly 70 hours into this game. I beat it and still playing it

Cuff straight up says he will try to drive her mad like the other tantas, but frey is the strongest tanta and has a completely different personality whoch i feel helps her resist it unlike the other tantas. Not to mention she is immune to the break, which i believe even the other tantas could only resist it, not be immune to it

So… if Frey was from Athea the whole time… than the game's NOT really the isekai they advertised it as….

And to think people complained about the dialogue…. so glad I passed on this game. I would have been soooo pissed to find that out after playing through the game. Especially after the massive campaign to push the game as an isekai.

Um homer is not a male cat, homer was female, Frey consistently referred to homer as “her” and “girl”

5:11 Pretty sure she kept Cuff not because of "good ol' banter" but because she literally can not get rid of him or risk him continuing to destroy the world. This is why she pulled him into that alternate realm for the final battle – she was ready to sacrifice herself by trapping him in there with her. And, obviously, she knows he drove the other Tantas crazy. Heck he even reminds her (and the player) of this by threatening he'll do the same to her one day right when you start the post game. Frey is clearly the most powerful Tanta however, and is confident she'll be able to withstand him. Whether or not she can, we won't know unless a sequel comes out.

I do agree the ending felt rushed though. I understood why it took her so long to open up and become the hero everyone needed, but there wasn't enough balance between the ramp up and the payoff. I liked Frey and enjoyed the moments where they showed her growing as a character. I also understood the moments where she slipped back into resenting everyone around her. People with trauma do that. I've done it myself many times. Recovery is an uphill climb and never a straight line. All it takes is for someone to say the wrong thing or something to frustrate you or some sort of aggravating setback that will push you away from your goal. Her thought process throughout much of the story can be summed up with this: Why should she be a hero to them when no one was a hero to her?

Anyways, I would like to see a continuation of this story as there is potential here, and will be grabbing the dlc as I'm curious what happened before.

With the amount of cutscenes in this game I felt like DJ Khaled was in charge of how many, I could hear him "AND ANOTHER ONE!"

It's no god of war or gears quality game but I just beat it & it's not even close to what the internet said. I liked the gameplay the powers and the story. Even the commentary not as bad as I thought. People just keep sharing the same 2 clips on Twitter. Good or bad buy or don't buy what you want. Don't rely on people you never met to tell you how to spend your money.

This game really doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Seems like everyone is just jumping on that mainstream, popularity train on hating something that's different. I personally enjoy Forspoken. I lime how different the combat and flow of the game is. I do think they could've potentially done a whole lot more though. I actually do enjoy the story. I don't know if many of you remember a movie called The Forbidden Kongdom, but that's what the story reminds me of. Except with magic instead of martial arts. Just my honest opinion so take it with a grain of salt.

I wanted to like this game and give it a chance but so many things are weak or bad from the lack of explorable cites and towns to how much of an unlikable jerk Frey is.

as a unprofessional/casual game dev, I feel like the game will be so much better if frey was just an average menace/"bad person" in our world that got lured for their portential by th remnants of an evil being (vembrace) thrown into a functioning fantasy world(without the break, with actual intrigue between different factions) after a failed apacolypse, then through a series of events frey, the cuff, and some other badies(from across athia, or maybe even beyond) become genuine friends and decides to become basically "fantasy villains", as the players has become acustomed to the game and its world/machenics and now experiment/have fun with it as story/progration goes onto conquering/destroying the world and being the invasive catastrophe that they are

Of course the sequel Is saving homer. That, at the end of the game, Will turn out Is a new enemy Sent to kill him…. Paid by His own father in law…. UPS, wrong movie.
