I found a kitten outside my apartment. I’m 24 just moved out of my parents 1 month ago and it was only right to bring her in. It’s a long and sweet story how I got her but it was meant to be and now I’m here watching how to train her. She even let herself shower, as I poured warm water on her she didn’t scratch or move. Definitely needed this new friend. Now I love cats

We used a potty pad for the first 2 weeks to start, and we just switched to a swallow leftover container with litter on the potty pad…. crossing our fingers… first time doing this

I rescued a 2 month old kitten from the shelter I tried different litter I tried putting her in I tried moving it away from her food I keep her in a small room I put her poo in there and she still won't use it when I put her in she seams terrified and jumps right out I even put our other kitten in there to show her and she still won't use it my other kitten uses it no issues but this new kitten I had for a week and it's driving me insane idk what to do

When my kitten was only 2,3 months old, i used to bring them to toilet with litter box and sit with him and patiently wait for him to poop. It was not that fast, but at least i knew what if he was meowing, he needed to use it.
My first boy cat was a natural not a single accident and he’s 3 now. My kitten (girl) uses the pellets but also goes outside if it if it’s not in the same room. Out of side out mind I guess

I just got a one month old kitten from the street he was blind in an eye and i’m taking him to the vet to make sure he doesn’t lose the other one, but he hates the litter box whenever i feel like he’s gonna pee i pick him up and put him there but then he stops what he was about to do and try to go somewhere else do it but because i insist so much he give up after trying no to pee there for so long, and he also doesn’t cover up for himself, what advice would you give me? Its his third day here with me.

Had to watch this video. Got sibling kittens recently. I have had many cats in my time and this is a first for me that they are peeing on all the furniture and pooping on the floor. All of my other cats when they were kittens had no problems. Going to show this video for my kids to try out immediately.

My kitten simply refuses to sit on the litter box. I've tried different litter and boxes, but no, no improvement. He's 2 months old.
My kitten is 6 weeks and still goes to corner of living room or now is using the scratch box toy to poop in it we tried putting little poop in his litter and putting him there but he gets out of it quick. Then we tried moving litter box to another area he just ignores it. We switched litter he still ignores it. Try to put him in there also when he wakes up or has eaton and he ignores it comes right out of it so we switched the box it self and he still jumps out . Help lol

OK the issue I'm having is that we got a mother that we found outside who had 4 kittens. She thought under our couch was the safest place so we let them stay there for about a month knowing that she usually cleans the excrement with her mouth in the first few weeks. We are trying to transition into another room with a litter box, and they refused to use it. The Mother only uses the restroom outside, and when we tried to leave her in there with the litter box, she pooped on the flooe 😢

I got 2 kittens last week on Thursday and neither of them like the litter box. We have tried 3 different types of litters. We have 3 litter boxes and we have been placing them in the box when they wake up or after eating. When we put them in the box, both of them do this. They jump out like it's lava. They poop everywhere and pee on all our yarn. We moved their food bowls under the couch cuz that is their favorite place to poop. Since then, they have not pooped there, but they still go elsewhere. We also talked to an animals psychic which I was hesitant about but it was pretty fun. We have tried all her thoughts and ideas and even the litter one of the kittens told her with her psychic powers lol. Idk what else to do. Both of us r tired of cleaning up poop and cleaning the floor with sprays and vinegar and whatnot. Please help!
is pretty litter training material? im in the process of training a rescue that i saved a couple of days ago.
Last December, we had a stray cat visit us and we started feeding it. By April and May, she willingly started coming in the house. We’d like her to stay in the house all of the time but being a stray, she likes going outside to do her “potty time” and she likes it out there. Luckily, she lets us know she wants out. The vet said she was probably 2 years old. My question is, at her age and being a stray that long, is there any hope in training her to use a litter box? When we’ve put her in it, she just hops out because she doesn’t know what it’s for.
