Valve should get into console gaming.
Related to valve I bought the valve index when it was released. Two years back when one of the satellites went out they replaced it for me free of charge, way past warranty.
No hassle or problems they just said they would take care of it for me and it was at my door in a couple days.
So without hesitation I bought the steam deck OLED and I've been loving playing around with it. Great hardware, pretty easy to use and with some effort I'm able to play non-Steam games as well and mod my games. I 100% trust valves products.
I want a steam deck but like for old games like RTS starcraft or starcraft 2 Age of empire and all that

False. The wifi is not better, battery life is better but still terrible and performance is the same there is nothing "more"

Perfect would be if there was a full Ryzen 7840 motherboard upgrade for a cheap price as a official upgrade for it, would even be more epic than having a Steam Deck 2 if we could simply upgrade it to last gen for a way much cheaper price than buying a whole new console every "X" years specially when they have nailed it with the OLED…

Can I play my FO 76 steam PC build that I already play on steam PC or do I have to start a new character on the steam deck ? Also can we use the deck and charge it at same time while playing a game ?

That screen is just amazing. I got to see it against my original steam deck and it really make games look awesome. Would I put down $$$$ for this upgrade? Probably not since I already have the original. What my friend did was sell his original steam deck to get this new one. Not a bad idea if you really want this new updated steam deck. The plus news is that that we won’t have to worry if our steam deck won’t lose technical updqtes for a while.
This is why I held out on getting a steamdeck this last few months. I’ll pick this one up. Should be good as I’m always having to travel. I’m sick of planes
