So I love gow raganarok so so so so much I only have one gripe barehand fighting I want to punch not shield swing like I wanna fo the run punch or the roll punch
The bosses are so much better this time around. Within the first hour alone you’re having insane fights with gods and giant beasts, alike. The way the game goes from combat to a cinematic back to combat is just insanely seamless. The only annoyance I have is the camera — it’s just too close during combat.

Getting a good sequel is literally impossible nowadays and yet santa monica managed to make a sequel better than the original game. The only thing I didn't really like was the end, it ended kinda quick (story-wise) but overall a true masterpiece. 👌

think this game is absolutely flawless other than 2 little gripes i have with it, 1 is the compass can be super janky at times and 2 is that the ironwood section dragged on a bit too long for my liking, other than that it's incredible

Your fan boying. Like most of the world. Any section where you play as Atreus is boring and drug out. There absolutely are pacing issues. Odin's casting SUCKED!!! Horrible choice to play him. Frame rate drops, no new game plus or photo mode.
This game is great. But everybody acting likes it perfect is really starting to wear thin. Gamers are such sheep.

I believe the sequences leading into the final set-pieces were rushed as compared to the remainder of the story which took a lot of time.
And there were was story mission which takes one character to a different world and mostly do silly stuff. Sure it had its important moments but it more than overstayed its welcome.
So yes pacing in this game is off but otherwise top game
I bought a ps5 for my 24th birthday (with some hesitation) just for this game on the new console and loving it so far. That epic fight with Thor in the beginning did not dissapoint 😄
I also love that you get all of this (rare today) for just $70 and it's worth it. Just like Elden Ring 😊 now I have 2 new favorite video games of all time that released in 2022 (my favorite games ever were Bloodborne and my #1 probably Dark Souls 3)
Now I hope next year Spiderman 2 wins game of the year
