I swear, one farting dupe fucked me over. ONE. I made a perfect balance of carbon skimmers and electrolyzers. I basically solved breathing. But only on cycle 150 was i put into an apocalypse when a giant cloud of natural gas started creeping into my base. It was so annoying to pump out. My suggestion? Avoid flatulent dupes like the plague.
i just dont understand how you get constant materials? like somehow i just dont have enough metals/algae one day and i need to dig like 50 blocks away to get them….

While playing this game I ran out of water and everything went wrong because everything relied on water like my food and oxogen but there was steam vent not very far and I reached before every one died and used the water it outputed

4:38 "Put the toilets behind the sinks so they use them after" as they all pick up food and ignore the hand washing altogether. XD These fuggin' peeps, I swear.
Not gonna lie. Idea of the game is cool, things you can do are cool but overall game is bad as you can live about 10 real hours of gameplay on speed 3 with just 4 dups, oxygen diffuser and 2 outhouses (i've done that). THere is nothing pushing you to do anything past you've built those so the game is more about creating problems yourself so you can fix it and therefore makes it a bit boring. Factorio had similar problem for me though factorio at least did have native life and clear end goal, those 2 were some motivators.
HOWEVER, i am not here to criticize it. HOW do i force dups go to toilet after sleep? they go before sleep (and before eating) and that creates some time management problems. If dups go to toilet after they wake up it is possible to really make their time not wasted by walking. I tried to build toilets on day 2, they used bathroom after they built it but used it again before sleep. I tried to disallow bathroom to fix this problem but similar thing happened. Schedule does have bathroom time in the morning but they simply ignore it because they are clean and don't want to toilet at this point
no offense that seed sucks my dudes suffocate nonstop lol

I tried for 5 hours to figure things out by myself and it was a lot of fun, but I needed help. Your video helped a lot! I didn't even think of building rooms, my colony was just one open space. I didn't think about that the cook needs to wash his hands, too.
The only thing missing now is I couldn't figure out how to set up the shower. 😀
