Don't get me wrong, I'm just as anti-woke as any other sane person, but I'll never understand the need for every character to be attractive to the playerbase, nor the hypocrisy around the concept. People like Kratos, Lo Wang, and male Commander Shepherd as characters. People like Zarya, Winston, and Roadhog as characters. People like Hat Girl, Sonic, Murtaugh, and Lupus as characters. And Outer Wilds, where you play as an ugly alien, is one of the most overwhelmingly positive games out there right now. Some of those characters, like He-Man and Shepherd, might be conventionally attractive, but certainly not to the average male gamer. Is Jordan just hated for her looks on top of the fact that the game is bad in general? Like, if she moved like Black Widow, fought like John Wick, and spat out witty one-liners at the end of every scene like Arnold Schwarzenegger, people would like her, right? (I know nothing about this game or the character.)

I'm only looking forward to this slop of a game's disastrous launch. Hopefully, it will finally make Sony shut down Naughty Dog once and for all. Like seriously, Uncharted 3 was their last good game. Last of Us is extremely overrated, and its MP was the only good thing about it.

if bg3 charged dlc for act 2 and act 3 everybody would hate it
but because they dont charge money for act 2 and act 3 its like a miracle? i dont understand. act 2 is good but act 3 is awful. if we had to pay extra for those i dont think anyone would care about this game that much. the fan base would be very niche. some say they could charge 60 bucks for each act, i think thats wild. yeah each act has too much in it and id rather it have a bit less but as each act goes on you notice a drop off in content, thankfully. theres just less to do in act 2 and 3 than in act 1. seems act 1 was very well polished and act 2 and 3 is never gonna get any polishing lol. and they are updating the game now, probably to fix some infinitle gold glitch, not to fix their game. so i dont think it should get so much praise especially for how woke cringe and ga the whole game is. if you make a male character expect to get hit on by every companion, if you make a female character, expect to get hit on by every companion. its very annoying when the companions spend their first few hours with you annoying the daylights out of you and then they want to turn around and get naked. like honestly, the companions are the worst part, all but halsen jahera and minx were just incredibly annoying. especially karlach, god i regretted ever saving her. and then you have wyll with horns but ask him to join your party when its already full and you get to hear him whine "i would but you dont have any room for me Q.Q" the girls are all badass warriors, the guys are all magical wizard sex boys, and even one of the female characters has a MAGIC GIRL TRANSFORMATION

maybe its possible that after bg3 has been out for a year and still has much of the same issues it had on launch is a big reason why people are starting to not like it, or perhaps, like me, more people heard aboug bg3 enought to try it, only to find out its the same modern woke gaming as every thing else o/

In the 90's and 2000's parents and groups tried to ban and boycott games for excessive violence and provocative characters. I would always defend games…that the majority of gamers KNOW the difference between game fiction and reality. It's definitely true that sex (appeal) sells in games – just like nearly all forms of media, but leave it to the game developers to exercise their own creative freedom, for expressing their own game how they want to (as long as it doesn't break any laws).
It's funny (but mostly SAD), that the opposite is going on right now. Game developers are expressing their own creative freedom in choosing to downplay the sex appeal, for focussing on other parts of their game – and now all these THRISTY gamers are trying to boycott them / their game!
