To be honest; all god of wars from the start are good– (except ascension, well for me at least) but yes, all of the god of war games whether old or new, it's always an experience.

Surprise surprise a Sony first party game is massively overrated. A 35 hour linear game with 5 hours of cut scenes for $70. What a waste of time and money. This is the must miss game of the year. Even the graphics look bad. The combat animations are so trash and the hit boxes look awful. OVERRATED!!!
Main take away: Explore. You want to get stronger? Explore. You want to know the motive of the characters? Explore. We aren't speed running the game, explore!

The ending was really sad. Kratos says goodbye to Atreus as he needs to look for other giants outside of the nine realms. Kratos finds a secret shrine left by Faye. The shrine shows Kratos becoming the leader of the nine realms in the future. Kratos gets really emotional seeing this as he learns he finally redeemed himself
Heimdall is in the game and he plays a very important role.
. Kratos’ new weapon is a spear that was made by “The Lady” which is the mermaid from the trailer. This spear is made in order to stop Heimdall since he has like superspeed.
. Surtur is also in the game, but we don’t get to fight him.
. We fight a big wolf in Helheim but Atreus transfers Fenrir’s soul into him.
. We see Jormungandr get sent back in time by Thor.
. Time travel is not in the game.
. Kratos blows Heimdalls horn that can be heard throughout time and space in order to start Ragnarok (that is who blew the horn in GOW4).
. Freyr is in the game.
. Brok and Sindri play important roles in this game.

So many people saying it looks the same as 2018 but you need to remember this isn’t a sequel , it’s the continuation of the first game to close up the Norse god story line.

Wrapping the saga up in two games was a great decision that Corey Barlog set in place when he worked on the first game. Sometimes if you stretch a story out too long, by the time you get to the 3rd game it can lose some of the magic that make the games great, for a million different reasons, people move one, the passion can be lost, etc. Finishing it in two, avoids those issues and almost ensures it's going to be epic.
Two things needed over 1:
Faster combat, less walking segments.
It's supposed to be cringe just like the writing from taints row not Realistic and turn it into a punchline like that piece of garbage Thor movie I'm disgusted with Soynee I miss the good God of wars on ps 2 and even ps3 was awesome
